Talk me through the check in procedure.

We have paid the balance but are waiting on tickets, luggage labels and check in time.

(Forget to say we are sailing from Southampton.)

at least in the USA, you can go to your cruise personalizer 75 days before the cruise and print out your boarding passes (tickets) and luggage tags

If you have booked through a TA and are unable to print off your own tickets and labels from your Cruise Personaliser due to not having access to printer, ring them and ask them to send them to you

We sailed on Sapphire 5-12 May, so recently returned. We received an email from Princess telling us about the procedure to print off tickets, labels, boarding information online but then our TA sent them to us through the post anyway.

You are very close, June 4th is your date.

Go to the cruise personlizer and complete the immigration and other personalizer information. You must enter a credit or debit card number. On June 4th you can print your luggage tags and boarding pass. Nothing is sent to you. If you don't have a printer, ask someone who does or your T.A. can do it for you.

Check in time. When we sailed this itinerary from Southampton we arrived at the pier around 11am. We checked in. Boarding began around noon.

Also, go back in to your personalizer closer to your sail date since there can be changes. Ours changed location where we were to board. Not all of us received an email notification, but it did show up in the personalizer.

You need your ID-passport and boarding pass at the check in counter. If you've filled in your credit card info. on the personalizer, they don't need to see your credit card again. It was a very smooth check in for us on May 5th Southampton. Have a great cruise.
