Love it! Go White!

unfortunately not a good day for our Spartans. :(

Yes, I saw that score, after I had posted. Bummer.

Agree that rivalries are great, and on any given Saturday ....

It disappointing but on the bright side who would have ever expectected the turnaround from last season?

Dantonio is the best. They have the best overall record in the Big 10 since he was the coach.

Next year will be the one and will be for many years because of all the young players. Dantonio preaches we promise hope and deliver results. He plays the best players, not those that feel entitled and that makes everyone play harder because they know that he will use those that produce, that is hope.

No shame in losing to OSU this season. MSU is exceeding all expectations. ]]

Yes - Dantonio is the Best!! Totally agree and with all the young players we should be pretty awesome next year! I think OSU really had something to prove after their loss the week before..... We should still be looking at a decent bowl game I hope.

GO GREEN

Time someone cooled their jets a little. Quoting what one cruise line does is completely irrelevant as to what another does or might do. My point is this Hal may do things one way, Cunard may do things another but Celebrity does things its way. The fact that HAL may or may not require B2B passengers to attend muster drills is irrelevant just as why Celebrity insist that everyone must attend muster drills. No ifs or buts. If one sails with Celebrity one must attend muster drills. My comment was not an attack on any individual and if someone thought that then its time to harden up. My one suggestion is that if one is any way infirmed then get to the muster briefing station early because most have very little seating in fact are generally a waste of time as one normally cant see or hear the message especially if one has to muster in the Photography area on S Class ships

We've just returned from a b2b out of Miami. On the first day of our second cruise we all gathered in the Ensemble lounge and were walked off the ship as a group. We had to take our passports with us. We sat in a lounge area in the terminal, our old seapasses were collected and our new ones given to us. The old ones were also returned a little later. We were then escorted down through CBP and then back onto the ship. It was a relatively painless procedure that took the better part of an hour.

I wish we knew that a second muster was not necessary for b2b cruises. Truly, Celebrity's muster is a complete mess and waste of time. We were gathered in the area outside Celebrity Central called B2, couldn't see, couldn't hear, couldn't sit down and it seemed interminable. The video they show is completely trite. They really need to life their game in this area. A simple run through of the procedure we need to follow in case of an emergency evacuation by someone on a microphone and a demonstration of using the life jacket and it could have been over in 10 minutes.

Actually it is not required by law, it is up to Celebrity &/or the Captain to decide if the Psgrs must attend on the second leg..We were sent letters by HAL & advised if we had to attend the second Muster or not..

This is the law & it was confirmed by Cheng KP on the HAL board, who BTW is a Cruise Company Officer.

The law states: Quote The legal requirement is for the muster drill for newly embarked passengers, or once a month, so if your B2B....2B is less than 30 days, they don't need to have you repeat. Unquote

We've been on B2B's on HAL & several times did not have to attend the second time..However, there were times our Captain decided ALL Psgrs must attend..

Re my previous Post..FYI See Post No. 10 on the HAL CC site where I quote chengKP75 :

Thank you for taking the time to post this. I knew it wasn't a law but could not remember where I read that.

Doesn't much matter what any laws relating to muster attendance say so long as a cruise line is in compliance... Doesn't much matter what one cruise line's policy on muster attendance is relative to the policies of other cruise lines [wouldn't personally be a determinant for me in selecting itineraries; if an issue for others, buy accordingly]... And it doesn't much matter whether a guest happens to disagree with a cruise line's related requirements or how the process is handled; one agrees to abide by the cruise line's policies/practices when he/she certifies agreement with the Cruise Contract as part of the check-in process...

In my experience with multiple back-to back cruises, Celebrity and sister line Azamara--I believe it to be true across the Royal Caribbean family of brands--have always required muster attendance [it is monitored/attendance is taken] on each segment of a multi-segment cruise without exception and regardless of how recently one has attended such a session... Several years ago I did a B2B2B2B on Celebrity and needed to attend muster all four times [including attending "make-up" sessions if I happened to be ashore touring on turn-around day for me/embarkation day for others when a cruise started with an on-board overnight in port; in such cases, it's Celebrity and Azamara practice to hold the primary muster session on boarding rather than sail-away day]...

Regarding B2B, you're not always required to leave the ship. It probably depends on where the ship is but we've often just had to do the "disembarkation" and "embarkation" in the sky lounge or area they set up for B2B passengers. They set up a security scanner and gave us our new sea pass cards. Then we were free to go about our day either off the ship at our leisure or on the ship.

I drink cranberry juice. I request it daily. Never been told that it was only available at the bar. The server brings it to me. Never paid extra for it.

Where did you request it daily? In the MDR or the buffet? Also, did you have a beverage card? When we were up in the buffet, there was no server we could see. For us it was all self serve.
