Breakawy just arriving at Canaveral

So much for the planned 20:00 or 21:00 hour run to GSC, seas & waves seemed favorable for a good chance to tender ashore. But, not going anywhere at the moment @23:00

Okay... they’re done.... starting to button her up, now...

Gooood late evening ... just realized you're posted news on another thread. Zoomed in on the portcam - doesn't look like they started to release the lines yet or not done letting all of them go ??

Happy sailing soon & best of luck and success for a successful tendering @ GSC. tomorrow.

BA will most definitely be late "today" getting to GSC, tendering is then the question - looked like scheduled arrival is 10 AM and leaving @ 6 PM. She's running almost 20 knots now per AIS data & on tracking sites, but a very rough eyeballing - still another 100+ nm in distance to cover before getting to the island chains, just rounding & approaching Freeport to its north/portside. From ship's webcam: sunny & seas looking calm enough.

Lunch on the island today, looking doubtful to me by the time they come to a full stop, load & transfer supplies & launch the first double decker to go ashore - maybe, mid-afternoon BBQ is possible.

Sunset is around 5:45 PM - based on data for nearby Nassau ... ooookay.

Did I miss something else happening with the Breakaway? Why are you guys tracking the ship?

Nah, just running late for island lunch but she is full speed ahead @ almost 21 knots with maybe 50 or 60 nm remaining for GSC, seas are quite calm on live cam.

Tracking for fun, that's all ... should be by their own island around 13:00 hours, my guess. Maybe Bob B will update us.

The rush for those first tender spots is going to be insane.

They got there around 12:30 but wondering if lunch was set-up. Well, last tender should be on the way back cause it's almost sun-down.

We got to GSC a little late, but had lunch and we are back on schedule now ...everything is going great, except some of the slides are still closed, others open.

The boardwalk around the stern on Deck 8, is roped off account some storm damage...some ceiling panel’s came off... that’s all.

Another drama on the Breakaway....

We just completed an air medevac of an ill passenger.

It began around 8 PM, when they made an announcement requesting passengers with O-Negative type blood to please come to the medical Center.

A short time later, we changed course toward Cape Lookout, NC to meet the Coast Guard helicopter.

And now we are resuming our course towards NYC, still expecting an on time arrival, Friday....

Good early morning & thanks, Bob ... for posting. Thoughts & prayers for the pax in distress in getting the best urgent care for a recovery. Yes, the O neg. universal donor to the rescue ... often wonder, do folks know their own blood type when called upon to help.

Sailing up the coast, waves & sea swells look to be nicer, shouldn't run into anything more than 8' to 12' unless the course heading is to head further northeast into the Atlantic (a quick look now at oceanweather's forecast chart) - expecting a bit of nuisance rain & snow in the early Friday pre-dawn hours as you folks sleep, wind gust to gradually pickup moderately on & offshore.

Enjoy the rest of the cruise :D :halo:
