Just got back from an AMAZING time on Carnival Miracle over the past eight days! Will be writing a full review of everything we did both on the ship and on our excursions once I go through the 800+ photos we took between our iPhones and my Nikon CoolPix P500. Got questions? Ask away and I'll answer them!!!

HIGHLIGHTS:

Cabin: 6230 (Extended Balcony Port Side towards Aft)

Dining: Your Time

Excursions: Joyce Prince (St. Maarten), Fabian's Tour Service (St. Lucia), Carnival's Nevis Beach Break (St. Kitts)

Casino: once again it paid off our ENTIRE S&S bill!

Food: Awesome as always

Comedians: Pretty good to excellent

Shows: Only went to the Legends show last night

Bar: Orpheus at Lido Aft - Melvyn and Dusan were wonderful and very attentive!

Pool: Adult Aft the entire time. Some of the tiles were coming off the actual pool area and I hope that they work on this when she goes in for Dry Dock - she's showing her age :( NOTE: We did chair hog and did not hear one complaint from anyone!!! :D

Decor: typical Farcus... Bacchus Upper was very dark and the decor looked like grapes and octopi.

Daily Fun Times Tear Sheets and Dinner Menus to be uploaded as soon as possible.

We'll be doing the same run on the Miracle in November. We did it a few years back and it's probably our favorite run so far and one of our favorite ships (Legend is #1). Can't wait to hear all about your trip so I can start day dreaming!!!

So glad I just found this thread. We are doing this cruise on Jan 5th, 71 long days away :-). Do you have pics of your cabin and balcony? We are in 6279 I think it's a premium balcony and I would love to see how much bigger it is than a regular balcony.

Can't wait to read your review.

We are in 6279 on 11-26-11, and also had this cabin in March 2010.

I'm attaching some pic's for you...I can only post 5 at a time, so there will be 2 posts of pictures. :D

We did not take pictures of the cabin/balcony as we had the same cabin on Legend twice. If you don't mind me posting those photos I will as soon as I upload them at Webshots.

Can't wait to read your review! We leave on the same cruise next Wednesday!
If you happen to be doing YTD and have a big group, definitely request Igor's area. He's one of the fastest and attentive Team Waiters I've ever seen! He even brought us food that we did not order! *LOL*

Wow... first cruise AND first balcony!!! We have a saying - once you do a balcony you can never go back to Insides and Oceanviews!!! Which type is your balcony - standard, extended, premium vista, ocean suite, or grand suite?

Legend is also our favorite Spirit class ship as well!

It's been 6 minutes. Where is the rest? LOL
LOL had to eat and take care of things...impatience will get you nowhere with me ;-)

Your casino winnings is awesome news!
Yeah - also pulled this off on Glory, Spirit, Freedom, Inspiration, Sensation, and Magic! Fun 21 and the slots machines are my best friends on board a Carnival ship ;-)

Thanks for the advice on YTD. Never had YTD before, curious about seating arrangements. Did you request Igor's area when you arrived at the MDR?

Looking forward to the rest of the review. We sail November 2 - just six days! (Hi DeanDeeDee!)

We were placed in Igor's section the first night, as we were a group of six. We loved him and his two assistants do much that we stuck with him the rest of the cruise... except for the last port day (St Lucia). The other two couples slept thru dinner, and my husband watched as I had a little bit of dinner. Deets in the review!

2nd post

We had 4 in our room, but the steward still had not made up the couch or drop-down bed when these pic's were taken. How many are going to occupy the cabin ?

Hi, sorry its taken so long to answer, darn work always gets in the way :~). There will be 4 of us in the cabin, myself, my husband, my 16 yo daughter and 8 yo daughter. The room certainly looks spacious, what are your thoughts, any pros/cons? This is the largest room we have ever had and I was really excited about the extra space on the balcony.

Congratulations on your winnings, that is amazing!! We were on the Miracle last Feb and loved her so much we booked this route for Feb 6.12. Can't wait to read your review of these ports. Does anyone know if she is booked for dry dock, if so when and what is being done?
