Parking in Miami

We would like to take a cruise out of Miami cruise port were can I park? We are thing airport anything will help:confused::confused::confused::eek::confused::rolleyes::hot-beverage:

We use Premier. 6.99 per day, free shuttle and they have a huge building for the cars.

We park right at the port. Parking at PortMiami is currently $22/day. There are both open lots and parking garages depending upon which terminal. We find it really convenient to park, schlep the luggage right across to the porters at the terminal building upon embarkation and upon return just walk out of the terminal, across the crosswalk and in to the garage and drive right out of the port. No need to wait for and locate a shuttle, load and unload luggage on to yet another vehicle, etc. You might find it helpful to do an internet search and check out the PortMiami site and the map of the port including the terminal buildings, parking lots and garages.

POM parking is convenient and secure. You don't want to spend your vacation worrying about your vehicle.

Unless you REALLY know Miami well and live there, locals will recommend you park at the port. Too many super sketchy, dangerous areas that sometimes you don't realize are unless you live there.

I would park at the Port Of Miami.

If you search these boards you'll find lots of threads about Miami parking. Some will talk about having no issues parking away from the port and saving $$, others will be horror stories about overcharging, damaged or vandalized cars, no show shuttles, etc,

Many choose to park at a hotel that includes parking with one night stay - all of those will be out near the MIA airport and none includes a ride back to your car, so add about $20 for an Uber or $30+ for a taxi to get back to your car to your budget,

As stated above, most of the locals suggest parking at POM. It's your car - do you feel lucky? :confused:

At the port. $22/day its worth the maybe $50-$80 you'll save parking somewhere else. Very easy and safe.
