What's On Your IPOD for a Cruise?

After each cruise I put together a video and picture slide show all to music. Then each year I put those songs on my I-pod and relive the past cruises on my current cruise.

I have a variety of songs on my ipod, icluding music for relaxation, yoga, some samba, some tango, some music from around the world, some songs from top playlists, and ofcourse I have the Ray Charles version of America the Beautiful, God Bless America from the Mormon tabernacle orchestra, The Star Spangled Banner and the special compostion of Proud to Be an American. And I sing loudly and proudly to them amidst my husband's shusshing!

Going on my first cruise ever in a few weeks, and there is only one song i absolutely decided early on needed to be on my ipod :)

My cruise playlist has a lot of Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, and UB40, plus all of the standards already mentioned. However, I don't see a couple of songs mentioned that are perfect for sitting on the balcony, chilling with a boat drink: Midnight on the Bay and Ocean Girl by Stills, Nash and Young (I think - I lost track of who recorded what together). Right now listening to Coconut by Harry Nilsson.

Lots of Bon Jovi...I don't go anywhere without them ;) There's some other random stuff in there - Van Morrison, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Justin Timberlake, Jodeci....but mostly Jovi <3

I have most of my Blues collection, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepperd, Stevie Ray, Jonny Lang, Muddy Waters, Buddy Flett, Susan Tedeshi, B B King. But I have to have a few cruise specific songs like the Beach Boy's Kokomo and Buffit's Margaritaville.

I have lots of Rick Springfield of course.. then Billy Joel, Nickle back, 80's stuff. and more Rick :) Reo Speedwagon ( also on the cruise)
