MIke,

I'm really surprised you all got to that part of Atlantis without anyone stopping you!

They've been really strict on that both when we have visited on a cruise, and when we've stayed there....

Yeah, same with us... we were stopped when we attempted to go down the lobby stairs to look at the aquarium close up, and when we went outside thru one of the lobby doors, (I think where Mike says they came in) we were told we could not go any further without showing our hotel room key... :(

I love all those fancy shmancy decorations in Atlantis! Mike, I don't want to take up your time, but was just wondering: we took the water taxi over to Atlantis last May. We just wandered around the "free areas" aka the lobby, casino (okay, it cost us a $20 slot machine pull! :() a small part of the aquarium and just a small part of the grounds. We weren't interested in staying, just wanted to see the place. We are going back in May. I have heard that since we were there, there are no longer any "free areas." That you have to pay even to walk thru the lobby. True??? Thanks. Not sure if we would go back. Might try the British Colonial Hilton on a day pass, but just wanted to know "in case."

Casino, shopping, lobby was free for us, when we were there.

When we stepped outside the guard was talking with some people, looked at us and didn't say anything so we kept going. When we re-entered we realized we were in the aquarium. We eventually ended outside again in the waterpark. I know that there is a fee for the aquarium but I don't know about the pools and man made beach, I would assume there is a fee. Hope this helps. :)

Mike, I use Picassa to organize my photos. It has facial recognition so it logs all the photos of the people I want to keep track of. I have 9300 photos of she who must be obeyed. Just wondering if you have any idea of the # of photos you have of your spouse.

I use PhotoBucket and I have no clue how many photos I have of Tracy, must be over a thousand. Wow 9300 photos, maybe when we get to almost 30 cruises like you I might have that many.

This is an awesome review with some spectacular pics.

My wife and I were thinking of doing an Alaska cruise next year but the Pride seems to be such a beautiful ship we may do her instead.:)

Thank you Bajan Keith. :)

'Bridge Suites, Royal Towers- cost: $25,000 a night. The Bridge Suites span the space between Atlantis, Paradise Island's two Royal Towers, hence the name "Bridge Suites." Along with an awesome 16-story-high view on an 800-square-foot balcony, guests will enjoy the undivided attention of a staff of seven. Luxurious embellishments like a 22-karat gold chandelier in the dining room and a grand piano in the living room make this suite the ultimate in Bahamian extravagance.'

I think I have read Oprah has stayed in them .Only someone with celebrity status or 6-0 zero's in their income can afford them. Thanks for photos. Glad you had bonus views. I liked the photo of gold ceiling dome posted in an earlier post.

Wonder if that $25,000 is all inclusive.... I also heard Lisa Marie Presley stayed there. Thanks for these pictures, Mike. Don't think we will spent the $ to just walk around, so it's nice to be able to see the area.

After we were dropped off near the ship we decided to take a stroll toward the flea market. Along the way we visited a few shops and by the time we got to the flea market we decided to bypass it and go to ‘Senor Frog’, which was conveniently next door.

By the time we left ‘Senor Frog’ it was 5 p.m and the Flea Market was closing down, no big deal, we were getting hungry anyway.

I did not realize you were back with a new review already. I really enjoyed you past one and am looking forward to reading and seeing your recent B2B2B2.

Thanks capndinghy, unfortunately my recent cruise is not a B2B2B2 but a single cruise. :(

Hi Mike!:)

LOVIN your review! :D I looked the last couple of pages and see you paid to take a taxi over to Cabbage Beach the walked over to Atlantis to walk around, did you have to pay to tour Atlantis? I see that you wondered that about the aquarium, but how about the other places you walked around? Like the water park?

Thank you AngelKappie. The casino, shops, lobby is free. There is a fee for the aquarian and water park.

I know a lot of people put down Nassau, that they don't like it, but the beach you went to looked like a nice place to hang out if you like going to the beach. Was there any resturants or bars near by there?

The beach is free. There is a canteen on the beach. I think the nearest restaurants and bars are at Atlantis which is about a 5 minute walk.
