i have a dream pin i can trade someone for a legend, celebration, holiday, imagination, jubilee, fascination, or paradise pin. I have been on these boats but didnt get them. i have been looking for a while please help me out.

 

I may have an extra Paradise Pin! Let me check.... I would love to have the Dream one!

It appears from "official".....unofficial information from the maiden sailing of the Magic that Carnival will now only be issuing the traditional funnel pins, we have all come to love and collect, by a generic pin for all ships with the words Carnival Platinum". The only funnel pins will be the funky ones sold in the gift shop when the present inventory for each ship runs out.

 

Unlike in 2009 when Carnival attempted this, it now appears it is a done deal~~!!!~~

 

It waits to be seen if Carnival can pawn the new funky funnel pins off, by selling them in their gift ship, or if serious cruisers will still seek the original pins......

 

If anyone has heard this information from other ships, or if Platinum members have received the new pins on other ships, I would appreciate any info you are willing to share....... THANKS ~~!!~~

Hello Fellow Pin Collectors.

 

After all the years I have been putting :):):) on faces for no charge,

I have finally had some one take advantage of me. :( While trying

to make a trade to get a pin for another collector on this board,

I sent some one 4 pins to trade for this pin plus other pins. The

person did not comply with the trade and did not send me my pins.

Being the person I am, I will not mention their name. I am only warning

you to be careful with who you deal with if you make a trade.

 

I will not let this stop me from helping others out, since I LOVE to put

a :) on a face. I will just be more careful.

OH NO the best =) maker is =(((( I can't believe someone would not hold up their end of a deal with you. I sure hope that they will make it right or at least explain what is going on.

Not only have they dissappointed you JR but also the person that you were helping get a pin.

If there is no explaination from this offender, then they will look forward to KARMA for their deed.

Hang in there and hope for the best!!!!

Sorry to hear you were stiffed JR... It happened to me too, by a person on this page. He got 2 pins from me. It seems we have a real scumbag in our midst.

As of today 6-06-11, I have not received any pins from the person I sent

the four pins to.

 

I really appreciate all the emails I have received from everyone concerning

this trade.

 

But PLEASE understand, I will not let this stop me from putting :):):)'s

on faces. I knew it would happen one of these days. I just hate I could

not get the pin for the person I was tradeing for to get the pin they

needed for their collection.

I found the pin you were trying to get on Ebay so I am set, just sad that the deal you were making went bad, Hopefuly its not the same person that has been begging for items from the Dream & Magic on other threads ?:confused:

I don't want to have the whole collection until I sail on every ship. I only want the pins that represent the ships I've been on already.

Too bad they haven't come out with a Magic pin.
