I love the great service and food on Celebrity.

I like the limited number of daily announcements.

I love the menu at the the martini bar.

I love the tiramisu after dinner drink.

Will post more later, plenty more where those came from!!!!!

So much more to like, it's why we keep cruising.

I think it would be hard to find a really bad cruise. All of mine have been wonderful!

enjoy the positive - eliminate the negative and live longer.

relaxation watching the ship cut through waves........

breakfast each morning on the balcony, not having to get pushed around in the buffet by the masses.

great lecturers that entertain as well as teach

a staff that treats you like family not a guest

a Captain that is not a stuffed shirt, gets to know his family members personally & recognizes them when we meet again.

The T-Pool to totally relax before bed

at 5AM ET, not a bad recollection

:D Thanks!!!

Things to love? Oh many things~ the elegance of Century~I almost forgot how beautiful she is (almost being the operative word);)

The smile of the crew, no matter what time it is or what they are doing, there is the "Hello":)

The Grand Dining room and the men who seat you:D during those breakfasts and lunches. Seems they always have an arm ready for me! I hook mine through theirs and have a handsome person taking me to the table!

I like.....

Breakfast on the balcony

Having the waiter put my napkin on my lap

Meeting new people and hearing their interesting cruise stories

Traveling to new places and taking at least 100 pictures a day

The water....the beautiful, calming, clear water!

The chilled cherry soup on the first night in the dining room

The two person gliders on the aft deck of the Horizon

All the traditional looking Michael's Clubs (not the modern looking ones like on Galaxy)

A pedicure on my first sea day

Seeing my husband looking drop dead gorgeous on formal night

Being waited on by some of the most wonderful waiters at sea

and last but not least...

the anticipation in the weeks leading up to a cruise :D

The smiles on everyone's faces.

The way the stress just dissipates when I set my foot on the ship.

The wonderful and varied food.

The martinis.:D

The fun trivia games.

The champagne handed to you as you board the ship.

The cool towels you get on a hot day as you return from excursions (or shopping).

The interesting itineraries and excursions.

The wonderful new friends we meet everytime we cruise.;)

And last, but definitely not least Cruise Critic!:D :D

I have only been on one cruise so far, so my list is short, but these are the things I'm looking forward to in a few short weeks.........

Creme brulee!!! :)

the beautiful blue water and the hypnotic wake of the ship.

The fresh air as you're walking around the jogging deck in the morning.

Smiling faces everywhere.

Service befitting royalty!

The rocking of the ship and the soothing sounds of the Sea

the feeling of total relaxation

How many smiles and laughs I share with my DH

The frequesnt reminders of how much beauty there is in the world.

The friendly but mostly unobtrusive staff who work so hard to make sure I have a wonderful vacation!

I love this thread. there has been entirely tooooo much whining going on on these boards! We are lucky to be able to enjoy the cruise experience....any cruise experience!

Trying to think of some new ones here:

Never having to make a decision about which restaurant to dine in.

Being rocked to sleep at night.

Looking at everyone's photos in the gallery.

People watching.

Poolside trivia and name-that-tune games.

Having my room cleaned--not once--but twice a day.

Recallling memories of the people we've met and the places we've been.

Superb Thread!

#1 is Celebrity's service, also worth a mention: Freshly made waffles in the morning, martinis, lack of announcements, martinis, laying out on the lido deck listening to music with a tropical drink, martinis, meeting new CC friends, creme brulee, martinis, massages, lunch on a sea day in the back of the dining room watching the waves, did I mention martinis? ;) And I'm sure there's more that make me want to be cruising right now!

Mostlly I like the little niceities like a swallow of champange when you step on the ship, a cold towel when you return from a shore excursion the information on what to expect the temp to be at the next port. These may be little things, but they add up to big thngs. NMnita
