cvpends Posted August 16, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2011 vanilla crème brûlée baked vanilla cream, garnished with assorted berries As you can see, if you are a crème brûlée love like me, make SURE to order it the first day, because that's the only day it is served. chocolate melting cake Posted August 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Thank you! You made my day!! I can live with the new dinner menu (heck--I like meatloaf), but was terrified that they would take my "namesake" away from the everyday dessert menu. Now I won't have to cancel our B2B!!!! Billzilla66 Posted August 16, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2011 I was looking at the menus on JH's blog and I don't think I'll be losing any weight thanks to the menu. :D
Katoo Posted August 16, 2011 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2011 I don't see one thing new except maybe the cappucino pie. But that may only be because I just don't remember it. Anybody see anything new here?

Anybody see anything new here? No they cappuccino pie was always there. I don't see anything different at all. John did say on his Facebook page though that Bitter and Blanc WILL be served every day along along with WCMC. They just didn't get it done in time for the new menus. ooulio Posted August 16, 2011 #9 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Did I hear right? Are they taking away the Creme Brulee away except for the first nite? It is the only desert that is gluten free. Not going to be a happy camper if so. I will be pissed.

PictureChris Posted August 16, 2011 #11 Share Posted August 16, 2011 That Diet Pumpkin Pie is still on there?? I can't believe the Diet Pumpkin Pie is still on there either. This is the most disgusting pumpkin pie in history. I always order it because people don't believe how bad it is. I then dare everybody to take a bite. (even the waiters think it is gross)

Pretty sad when a dessert is the subject of a dare game. :p I may try that on my next cruise...
Rare crewsweeper Posted August 16, 2011 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Glad to hear the bitter n blanc will be every day. Puff pastry apple thingy is terrible. And not real fond of the cherries jubilee or chocolate raspbery cream cake. so there an alternative to more WCMC. DW will be glad to see the baked alaska is still there:). ccruisequeen Posted August 16, 2011 #14 Share Posted August 16, 2011 I hope they dump one of the nights in favor of Day 5- the chocolate/raspberry cake! I can't wait until May for that one!:D (just realized from my previous post that I only have 4-day cruises scheduled for Oct & Jan-- not 5!) njmomof2 Posted August 16, 2011 #22 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Is there a reason to torture people by offering bitter and blanc, tiramisu AND WCMC on the same day!? Really, are they trying to kill me? I love WCMC and feel the same about a good tiramisu. I don't think I've ever had B&B so I wanted to try it. How do I explain to my kids that mom is having 3 desserts tonight LOL!!! :D
rnvattes Posted August 16, 2011 #23 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Espresso and cappuccino at no charge? Is this new? Dessert menus are still "meh". Have never felt dessert is something Carnival has ever done well. Sams Club has better tasting sweets. :shrugs

MissRabbit Posted August 16, 2011 #25 Share Posted August 16, 2011 blech! could the sugar free desserts get any worse?? the apple pie and the cheesecake are the only salvagable ones. The others are "sponge cake with cream filling" and they just change out the flavour each day! There are tons of wonderful sugar free desserts out there that would come up to par with the rest of the desserts.
