Okay, I'm not usually an HSN shopper, but just picked up a gorgeous huge soft black sequin knit wrap for 29.99 and they have a long gown right now for 29.95 that is adorable! This fashion clearance is amazing - just got a pair of velvet palazzo pants for $10.00!

I love this company as well and have a few pairs from them. I wear a 7.5 US or 38 European and have found them to fit well. I usually find them on Modcloth.com (my favorite online store). They ship from the us, but will ship internationally as well.

If you are in Seattle at any point, they are also sold at Diva Dolls vintage-inspired shop.

So while I am leaving a week from today to drive to my moms in NJ so we can get on the plane next Thursday I ordered this dress from Amazon - will be here tomorrow - this weekend to cheer me up. Yes I did have my 3 formal gowns picked out - but after last week I needed to cheer myself up - this was a great buy on Amazon for an Ever Pretty dress - had never heard of them but read some great reviews = so fore the price I figured to cheer myself up as it is black and I can wear it to a lot of events and places.

Well, I received my Joan Rivers gold metallic smoking jacket (kinda cropped with 3/4 sleeves) today from QVC and it fits (slightly big but only size they had left) and I think it's going to look great with my palazzo pants!

I'm going to try to paste a link to it on QVC below. I have other things coming as well - a sequin jacket in black, palazzo pants and a sparkly wrap - can't wait and I will post pics.

I also went to Charming Charlies (at someone's recommendation here) and picked up a sweet gold quilted evening bag with chain handle and some cute earrings and bracelets - will post some pics of those as well!

Can't wait for September!

I think I have a sequin jacket of hers coming and a Joan Boyce sequin/sparkly wrap - I can't remember now! LOL And I apologize for the link - I don't know how to do anything on her unfortunately. Is there a way to make a link clickable? I cut and pasted it in and in emails, etc., it turns a different color and becomes clickable.

The dress came in and I should have ordered a size smaller but I think I am going to shorten the straps a few inches in the back which will pull the dress up. Still need to figure out what type of bra I can wear - probably a strapless - which means I have to go shopping this weekend along with everything else I need to do - including packing for 4 people (maybe 4 1/2 putting Roger in there too) it is just shows too much for me and my boys would throw temper tantrums and not let me leave the room (yes they are 16, 16 & 20) and the girls are a bit too big not too be lifted - any suggestions? I cannot go braless or show THAT much cleavage

I would wear a black strapless or a black demi-bra with wide set straps. Soma has a bra with straps that can be detached or moved around every which way. I would also sew or pin the crossover section together in a place that shows less cleavage...I do that with all of my crossover tops because I have curves and feel too exposed. With this dress, between the low-cut crossover top and high empire waist there isn't a lot of room for the tatas. Edited June 28, 2013 by royalcruz
