It's that time again: Oceania is, we understand, in the midst of vetting possibilities for godmother for its new Riviera and don't you think Cruise Critic should have a say? :)

 

The ship will be christened somewhere on the French Riviera.

When I heard that they had chosen the name Riviera, my first thought for the godmother was Gene Tierney.

Beauty, class, sophistication, AND she starred in a movie that made her the perfect choice:
