Just got a private email from Israel Sanchez on Voyager. Initially he was going to take the ship to Asia but RC told him that he was needed for the Grandeur's refurbishment. This was because of both the need of a concierge for the new lounge but also his language skills during dry dock.

 

The new concierge will be Silvia Abreau from Paraguay starting March 17th.

Yes, he emailed us about 6 days before the cruise and I even requested specific MDR table and he arranged it for us! Again, Awesome!

for ships without a concierge lounge,there won't be any concierge at all.......

 

However,I was on the MN in a suite and they had a suite officer to hlep us with anything we might need.........not saying all ships(without concierges) have that.......

Yes...they are making changes moving concierges with multi-language skills across the pond it seems where they are more valuable for the Europe season.

How long does it usually take for the concierge to respond to an email? I emailed a question several weeks ago about my upcoming sailing on the Enchantment the end of March but haven't heard anything as of yet. I didn't want to bug him with another email if they don't usually respond until 7 days prior to sailing or something like that.
