Wonderful photos! Very clear. I remember the man in the striped shirt as the ship went by. He looked as if he was calling to someone on the camera or on shore.

We had a lot of rain and lightening up here in Palm Beach County about that time. Allure seemed to be having decent weather though. I hope so anyway.

This is what I love about modern technology. Here's a photo from someone on the Allure as she went out.

Too bad they weren't facing the Port Everglades webcam building! It'd be great to have a photo of the photographers themselves!

Does anyone have an idea of how the port webcams are controlled? I know that on some webcams in Hawaii, you, the viewer, can sometimes take control of the camera.

I was watching the Miami cam and no one was following the path of the ship. Thanks

The Port Everglades webcam does have a 'user controlled' version. The link is on the website.

I never understood how one can have a "user controlled " wrbcam when there are 800 people watching the same cam.

I have used the 'user contolled' webcam at non peak times and have not had any issues accessing it. I cannot be certain but I do know at one time it was not made available during the prime sail away times of 4 - 6pm.

Will have to check on that next sail away.:)

Frequently you are given a time limit where you have sole control. When it lags, it takes you that long to find what you are looking for frequently. Try this one on a weekday middle of the day.

Saturday means Oasis of the Seas is home again and about to sail out. This capture was from this morning. Right now she is in a bit of darkness and Central Park foliage is getting a watering :)

Hoping for a more 'sunny' sail away at 5pm today
