Thanks, OP, for the heads up. Today, I drove over to see my travel agent and booked a cruise for April and only had to plunk down half of the deposit money. Also, saw a special on Carnival's web site that I took advantage of and applied it towards my booked cruise in May 2013, saved $25/person, yahoo!

I've had my eye on upgrading to 8E from my current ES 4J. The free upgrades offered in this sale brought my 8E down to a (slightly) cheaper price than it had been when Early Saver was offered, which I checked on cruise fish.

Just checked prices. Mine did drop so I sent request for OBC and potential upgrade. First OBC for my ES on this cruise. So if it comes through then it will be 5 for 5 on getting some reductions for a cruise with ES.
