Summer Carribean?

Have been away from Princess for awhile. Could anyone tell me if Princess has done away with summer cruises to carribean. Looking for next summer and don't see anything past April. Thanks

Princess moves their Caribbean ships to Europe in the spring/summer/fall. They are able to make more money on these sailings.

We ran into the same thing this year...sailed on Royal Caribbean...alot of similarities to Princess..probably the most so of the cruise lines that sail in the Caribbean in the summer months..

Agree...Royal Caribbean is a good alternative to Princess. We find them very similar and enjoy both lines equally. RCL tends to be a little cheaper for us, because their balcony rooms are much larger than Princess. We book a mini-suite on Princess, just a balcony on RCL. But, I sure miss the pizza and Trident Grille when sailing on Royal!

Princess has most of their ships in Alaska and Europe for the summer. None currently in the Caribbean.

Thanks everyone. We sailed princess in Aug. back a few years ago and thought we would go again, but I guess not. I guess we will go back to RCCL as we have to go in Aug. thanks

Princess moves their ships to Europe and Alaska in the summer, for better revenues. In 2010 they (and Celebrity) tried leaving one ship in FL to the Caribbean. they had to lower prices so much to fill her that they did not do it again. EM

If I cruise in the summer, it's on RCCL. Tried HAL one time, but I prefer Princess and RCCL.
