Celebrity has named four employees as Godmother's for the Reflection.

They are:

Jovanka Goronjic who joined Celebrity in 2009 as a member of the Aqua Spa Staff;

Megan Mathie, a glass blower for the Hot Glass Show;

Helen O'Connell, Community Relations Manager;

Roset Rodriguez, 17 year employee who is Special Events Manager.

Each of these women has a special connection with the Breast cancer theme.

What! Four Godmothers. Is this a first.

I thought Aqua Spa was a Steiner operation, not Celebrity employees.

Nice that four people were honored.

Nice, classy move in honoring the four women. Look forward to sailing on this ship at some future time.

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

I read this in Travel Weekly yesterday and had that all over, warm good feeling about =X= / RCCL. What a great testimony to compassion and awareness for humankind. This is the kind of news I love reading about. Way to go RCCL!

I think it is a refreshing recognition from a large company that a celebrity does not have to be a "celebrity". I was unaware of how the Godmothers were chosen for the Solstice-class vessels.

Thanks for posting the link to the Royal Caribbean's Investor page.

I think this is wonderful! Celebrity is using the position to increase awareness for a great cause. The fact that these four remarkable women work for Celebrity makes it more meaningful. In contrast, we took a cruise on the Zaandam a few years ago -- Zaandam has two Godmothers -- The Olsen twins.

Aqua Spa staff are Steiner employees and Hot Glass Show artists are Corning Museum of Glass employees. However, they are crew members who go through the full crew training, they have crew responsibilities, and they are definitely part of the Celebrity family.
