Carnival Fascination, Nov. 1996, first and last cruise during hurricane season. It was out of San Juan and went to 5 ports on a 7 day cruise including Grenada, Venezuela, Aruba, St. Thomas, and St. Martin. All very different places. Cruise number 14 on the Elation over Christmas.:)

03 Royal Carribean Monarch of the Seas. Went as a part of a chorale group performing on the ship. Loved the activities, hated our cabin (basement above the engine ). I was vibrating for a week! But it showed us where not to book a cabin and from then on they just got better!

First carnival on the Elation. Dad played Sinatra for he Legends show! Soured him on cruising for a while ( he locked himself in the cabin to rehearse, but I fell in love with WCMC!

Zchu-bee 1988

Massive thing pulling up to it at 48000 gwt's.

Loved it so much we sailed it twice more, and has since been sold twice.

CD was Bob Hamill. Comedian was Happy Cole.

You could freely bring you drink of choice on board. 5 course meals, and 5 meals a day.

My first cruise was on the Carnival Fantasy in 1991... it was a four day to the Bahamas. I remember wondering if I would be too seasick or if I would be able to handle being at sea for such a long time... it was exciting.. yet scarey before I boarded. She was a beautiful ship. And is still a very nice ship. I loved the back area where you could go outside with your breakfast and sit and enjoy the ocean. I liked it better then when the slides actually went into the pool... instead of the way they do now. One thing I really liked better about this ship back then was... it actually had 3 pools. The Lido deck pool, the Kiddie pool, and then on the aft , where they now have waterworks, was a nice area with a pool and hot tub. I understand how families love the waterworks... but for me personally, I really liked having that extra pool on that class of ship... Yep, this is the ship that got me addicted to cruising:D

My first cruise was in 1990 also on the Fantasy. 4 girlsin Ocean Suite cabin was so amazing as was the ship.

I agree loved having huge aft deck with pool.
