There is very little activity here because so few cruise ships call at St. Barts.

HAL is the only of the 'mass market' lines that stops a few times each season at St. Barts.

St Barts used to included in the Caribbean-Other forum but now it has it's own page. Yes, it's been a year now- not so much activity/info here

It's a beautiful port but not many people get there. After many years of cruising we finally visited there a couple of months ago.

We were in St. Kitt's in Feb. for the first time, on Oceania. It was the last of 5 ports. The first four were spent at beaches, so we just hired a local taxi driver to give us a tour. St. Kitts was absolutely beautiful! But for future reference if we go back, if anyone knows where to rent umbrellas and beach chairs, please post. I heard that it is a challenge.

We've been lucky to stop two times at St. Bart's on Maasdam. She is a smaller ship so permitted to anchor and tender. We loved both of our stops there. Beautiful, luxurious, lovely vacation spot.

We'll be returning in February on Oceania. If anyone knows where to rent beach chairs and umbrellas, please post.

We really enjoyed St. Barts but not many cruise ships stop here which is one of the reasons we do enjoy it.

I'll have to check if Maasdam is doing the 14 day cruise again...... I think that is the one on which we stopped in St. Barts. I'd be disappointed if they no longer go there. It's a lovely stop. Very pricey but we knew that in advance.

I love St. Bart's and have visited on day trips from St. Maarten and St. Martin during land vacations. It looks much the same as it did on my first visit in 1992.

Stopping for 9 hours in St. Barts on Celebrity Century in February. Planning on renting a car and driving around so if anyone has any specific recommendations please let me know! A few beaches will definitely be in the itinerary!

Definate beach stops should include: Saline, Govenour and Shell

I second this request for information on where to go to the beach with chair and shade rentals. Traveling on Oceana in February

I guess beaches are the only thing here? Is there anything besides a beach (unless there is plenty of shade somewhere)?

St. Bart's was the fifth and last port. At the previous four, we went to the beach. So as a change of pace, we visited the shops, then hired one if the numerous taxis to give us a 90 minute tour, which was fine.

Yes, they have a half dozen excursions posted for our cruise.
