I want to do a real LIVE thread like Radio does, and he does it SO well!.....but I don't want to disappoint anyone by only posting once a day :o My plan is to post as often as I can, but I will not be on my own laptop, I will be using RC online. I will try and answer questions as best I can, but if for some reason I don't answer your question, I will as soon as I return.....promise. Also, if you have any photo requests, please let me know. As well, I will have an opportunity on turnaround day to enter most cabins......

I will be cruising this time with my DH and our 16 yr old DD :)

Well, it's almost time to return to my favorite ship! We have sailed the AOS every year since 2006, with the exception of 2012 when we decided to try the Freedom for a b2b as my DH has never tried Freedom class, or the Western Caribbean. We had a great time, but we really missed our AOS. Almost the moment we debarked the FOS, we booked the AOS and our first Owner's Suite which will enjoy for both weeks!

We are sailing this Sunday February 17th and we are also onboard for the February 24th sailing. I am involved in both roll calls and am very much looking forward to meeting all my CC peeps in person!

Our travel plans are:

The weather in Toronto tomorrow should be mild with some snow flurries mixed with rain - no issue for take off!

Departing Toronto on Air Canada tomorrow, February 14th at 8:15PM- flying to Miami with an arrival time of 11:30PM. We are overnight at the Marriott Miami Airport.

Departing Miami with AA on Friday February 15th at 11:40AM, arriving in San Juan at 3:15PM.

Checking into Marriott San Juan Resort & Stellaris Casino where we will enjoy an ocean front balcony room for 2 nights before we embark on the Adventure on Sunday :)

Beautiful photo; cruising from San Juan is my favorite cruise. Have never done a b2b, but would love to. Enjoy your cruise.

Looking forward to your live-ish feeds. We are sailing out on the AOS in April. This will help us feed the crusie addiction monster while we wait for our turn to come. If you get a chance our room is going to be 9570 our first junior suite. Wishing you good travels!

Looking forward to your observations. Have a wonderful trip!

I am especially interested in food reports. I have been spoiled on HAL. Never been on RCL yet.

We are flying in a day early and staying at the Marriott also next month. If you are out and about, please see if there is any place nearby to purchase wine. I see a Walgreens across the street on the Google map. Was looking to pickup a few bottles before we board. I am sure others might be interested too. :p

Looking forward to your ongoing review and coming along for the ride. We are also going on AOS in April for the first time out of San Juan, PR. So we will be reading all your details and hoping for smooth sailing for you and your B2B Trip.

Especially anxious to hear when you actually get to the port the first time and what time you get on. Also on reviews on the new menus.

Have a great time!!!! Put your toes in the sand for me :)

Also if you happen to be on floor 8 and near cabin 8616 a peek in/picture would be great.

Happy sailing,

Robyn:

Enjoy your cruise. BTW, we were in an OS on Adventure last month. They no longer leave two pairs of slippers for you in the cabin. Our cabin steward confirmed this and told us no more chocolates for suite guests either. It didn't ruin our vacation. I just wanted you to be prepared.

Thanks for all the great responses!! I forgot to mention that I will be bringing my laptop ashore with me at each port so wherever I can tap into free WiFi, I will! It may cost me a Caribe beer.... or 2...lol!!

signing up for your report. It is just what the "doctor ordered."

As far as costing a Caribe or two.....I can never seem to get by that economically. It usually costs me a Bucket!:D

Smooth seas!

Safe travels, Robyn! We'll "overlap" in San Juan next week. Save some Caribe for me!

I will try and get a pic of your JS :) You will love all the extra space and of course the walk in closet, the bathtub/shower combo and so much more! We usually sail in JS's and love them!

I am interested in the food too  This will be our first cruise with the new menus.

We have stayed at the Stellaris many times, and yes there is a Walgreens right across the street. There is also a Starbucks, Haagen Daz and a Wendy's :)

I have a feeling you will really like RCI :D

Thanks for the good wishes! I will try and get a pic of your cabin on turnaround day.

I'm excited to be able to share my time on the ship with everyone - especially those who have yet to sail on the AOS!
