I have a small suspicion that the smaller ships will be closer;) unless of course they are the last ones to come in that day. I'll wish you luck on this one. It's still a nice port and you are a great walker;)

 

I would guess that the 2 biggest ships will get the terminals. Since there are only 1 or 2 ships those days, that would include me. I'll bet there are vendor stalls in the terminals and they want our business.

 

I'll know in a month for sure.

 

They took care of the gangway quite nicely.

Great closeup of the bridge. If that was the Prinsendam you'd see the Captain's eyebrows.

that dock where the Zuiderdam is is literally right in the middle of town - the passengers on the Zaandam must have had a bit of a walk from where they were docked.

Wonderful to see that a sailaway party was going on as the Zaandam pulled away from the pier! I think I even saw a gentleman eating something with a drink in his hand. What great camera work!!!

Sailing from Aruba is a scenic sailaway. The ships sail right by the airport and as we can see, planes are landing. That would make it even more interesting.

Wow, that was awesome. Thanks Lou and Dave. I may or not be awake when the Zuiderdam leaves. I had missed it earlier but the Veendam is in Port Canaveral tomorrow.
