Omar O'Besso is currently the Concierge on the Star. He's wonderful!

 

I second that - he might be the best Concierge we've ever had. When we told him about how the Concierge we had on the Star the time we sailed her in 2013 - he said, "you just got an upgrade" - meaning himself and we did.

 

He visited us in Cagney's every morning and knew us by name. He was a wealth of information on the Baltic ports too. The one we'd had before never aknowledged us as even being suite passangers. Guess we didn't look like good tippers.

No End of month Recap this month or next.

(Maybe someone else can try their luck at it)

I tried but I'm running short on time.

Leaving by Amtrak tomorrow for month + trip.

It will include 22 day Back To Back (15 days + 7 days) on NCL Sun. (LA-Panama Canal-Tampa)

I'll have a report on officers when we get back.

Has anyone been on the Jade recently and know the crew/concierge? We will be on the Jade next month.

 

You can search this thread - upper right corner.

That is what I did.

I put in the word JADE.

Results:

 

(No concierge listed, but I think it is Bruno.)

 

Of course, this can change before you cruise - vacations & transfers.

Just back from the JADE (sept 6th - 13th 2014) and sailed with this wonderful crew:

CONCIERGE: JADE: Ryan Rabe leaves on October 9 October 2014.

 

I do not know who replaces either gentlemen.

 

 

Does anyone know where Ryan is going? He was our concierge earlier this year on the Epic and he and his staff made our cruise. I'm hoping he's back on the Epic when we sail in March.

Ryan just went home to stay. His sea days are over at least for a while.

Ryan will not be returning as he wants to spend more time with his family

David is the concierge on the Epic.

He goes on vacation at the end of November & I believe he will return in January.

Don’t quote me on his return. LOL

 

David is amazing.

I believe he is the BEST concierge we’ve ever had.There are many excellent concierges, but he just goes way beyond.

Monica Fotache will be replacing David when he goes on vacation which is currently scheduled for 11/16/14 unless changes by then.

So disappointed, she was originally scheduled to be on our Jan 2 Pearl cruise. We have cruised with her many times and think she is a fantastic person.

The HD on the Epic right now is Richard, a delightful Frenchman.

I do not know his vacation schedule.

Thanks Judy.....He was the assistant HD the last time we sailed on the Epic and Dennis was the HD. We were very lucky that trip to have Klaus onboard.

Oh, I know Denton.

He was Exec Chef when we went to Alaska.
