kruzerci Posted January 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I don't think it's anything spectacular but it never hurts to have one more way of finding deals.
molly361 Posted January 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2014 You get notifications once a week (Fridays) so if there is a price drop it could already be gone by the time you get notified. But it is better than no notifications:)
framboesa Posted January 31, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2014 There is another website with price drop alerts, which is always accurate, maybe that's why you haven't seen any posts about it :)
hollon Posted January 31, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I signed up as well and was surprised that no one mentioned it.

Yellowsmartcar Posted January 31, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 31, 2014 Great.... NOT Why is it ONLY available to "*Prices are provided by our partners and are per person, based on double occupancy and do not include all taxes and fees. Deals are shown in U.S. dollars, and available for US and Canadian residents. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time." Very unfair why can't you honour price drops for other countries, especially if you book ON BOARD an USA Ship, and not thru a local TA. Nothing's wrong with taking our money ??? but a level playing might be nice. So even more salt to rub in wounds having this feature being "exclusive" So much for global buying and selling...only to excluded. V:)

V:) The playing field is not level but no one ever said it was. Consumer law in Australia is very different to the US, which is why the fare rules are different. The very easy way around this is to use a US based travel agent. It's much more effective than ranting on an internet forum.
nelblu Posted January 31, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 31, 2014 http://www.cruisecritic.com/price-drop/?src=TOCC Thanks, good to know. Signed up and hopefully there will be a price drop on my Quantum cruise--although I doubt it very much.
tabbi_cakes Posted January 31, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I made the search for my cruise one of my home pages so every time I open up my browser it searches for me. No waiting for the weekly email. Plus I still have an alert set on that other site.
