Port schedule change. Westerdam is now showing 4:30 PM and Veendam is 5:00 PM.

 

Veendam did not arrive this morning till 7:30 AM.

We just arrived at the Embassy Suites and am sitting in lobby since room will not be ready for TWO hours. They say we will have top level facing port so looking forward to joining the sailaway. FLL was a zoo... Four ships came in and everyone was leaving as we landed...

Is there a shuttle from the Embassy suites to the Port?

I think there is one from the airport...

Will be using it next year:-)...or then again, maybe sooner.....

Will be watching the show....

80 inches of snow outside, frozen roads, so may as well listen and watch the "tootin"...

There is a shuttle from ES to the port Bob but it does have a charge. If the shuttle's not there, ask for a taxi - it's actually cheaper IMO.

 

At the airport - no shuttle unless you get it in a package and that package is not a deal IMO. It is cheaper to just take a cab to ES - around $15.00 and no waiting :D

Not sure about Embassy Shuttle to Port but the cost of a taxi ride in that area is $6.00 per person.

Take a cab; cheaper and only one stop, yours

Just to echo what Kazu said. I went to the desk and they confirmed it is a fixed price shuttle. We got here from FLL cheaper and it is cheaper to take a cab to the port.

 

By the way, a CROWD just came in wearing Cruise Critic t-shirts...
