How much did you rack up on your S and S card last cruise?

Recommended Posts

Mine was nearly $850 and hubby's was a little over $400. His was mostly drinks, mine was $400 in casino, 2 cartons cigs, and the rest drinks. I see from all the other replies where my money went. Glad to know someone won. While I was gambling one night, a lady hit a royal flush on one of the tv looking games. I didn't think it was ever going to quit making a noise.

Got the bill this morning under our door...womp womp womp.

$566

We racked up $1200. I only paid on my CC $315!! Hello OBC and had some cash I won in the Casino that I put on it too. And a small refund from an Excusion we cancelled.

What's really crazy is we aren't drinkers!! We had maybe 7-10 (total between my husband and I) alcoholic drinks. Although my 15 y/o had quite a few virgin Pina Colada's, lol. We spent about $500 in the Spa. :D

Oh, and this didn't include gratuities ... we pre-paid.

$1000 for 2 of us on a 6 day cruise. We bought bottomless bubbles, unlimited 4d theatre, cake at coffee shop, 4 shirts for $20, tips, 2 watches, 2 pairs of raybans, 3 jewerly sets, and a coupe drinks on board. Having said that we only bought a bunch of that stuff because I won over $2000 in the casino on roulette and slots, so really it was all free but had it not been we probably would have spent around $500 including tips

For our first cruise (7 day & we both had bottomless bubbles) DW and I spent about $800 between the both of us. Mostly was on drinks and pictures.

For our second cruise (7day & we both had bottomless bubbles) DW and I spent about $800...we had $200 of OBC, so we only ended up paying $600.

It's nice to keep track of your balance from your room to make sure you don't go over what you're not comfortable with or if you close to going over budget.

We usually think we are doing good if we stay around $1000 for the two of us on 7 or 8 day cruise.

Tips and excursions are not in this $1000 as we prepay tips, and pre-book excursions.

As a previous poster said we are on vacation!!

On our last cruise (a four day trip) we were just over $100 after our pre-paid tips. On a typical seven day cruise we spend about $300 to $400 after our prepaid gratuities. Once we spent almost $700 but we were photo happy.

For our upcoming cruise in Oct I have budgeted $550. (I plan on taking DW to the Chef's Table)

Happy sailing!

Too much

Ha! I can relate...

But last trip was a 4-nighter, a little less than $200, including tips and a massage on special. I'm not a big drinker and brought my one bottle of wine on board. I also don't buy photos or very many souvenirs - after a certain number of cruises, I just wasn't that interested anymore, now it's maybe a fridge magnet or such.

But next up will be my first B2B and a real Serious Vacation...;)...so who knows?

We don't spend much usually.

Tips and a few drinks.

Although we almost spent a lot at the shop on a piece of jewelry, but went back to get it and it was gone.

I think they must have had it by mistake as it was much nicer than what they usually have.

$96. (auto gratuities) less a small refund on the taxes and fees. This might be why I didn't get the free cruise offer. Carnival knows they're not bound to make any money off me. I did give out about $50. in cash as extra tips to my wait team and steward.

This is pretty much us. Our last was $750 on a 7 day. Two adults and two kids. Paid for owl jams one time, drinks, some virgin drinks for the kids, a couple if knick knacks in the fun shops.

Tips are always prepaid.

We have an 8 day coming up and I'm hoping to do cheers. We are also planning Steakhouse and probably two owl jams.

Out last cruise was a four day and it came to about 300.00 for the wife and I which was an Ensenada wine tour, tips and a couple drinks and specialty coffees here and there. Doesn't include the extra tips for room service and room steward and any extra $$ while off the ship.
