Thanks I have a look at it. Its quite a good little itinerary. I didn't realise that the Radiance had studio cabins. Dates don't quite work out for me. But I remember that about the Radiance.

Picked up the balcony upgrade offer tonight on Radiance of the Seas, 31 Jan for 8 nights. Would've preferred to try a different ship but happy with the basically half price, so not complaining. Think someone may have had it on hold and released it as nothing was available last night.

Did you get a D category or an E category cabin? Great price - well done :)

 

We got a "D " cabin. On deck 6 right near the lifts and 1 stair flight to the Promenade. Happy with that for a Guarantee cabin. We thought we'd get way forward or aft.

Very pleased for you. We got E category very much forward on a Radiance trip in 2017, which we expected, but we wonder if it is worth getting out of that (still at full deposit refund stage now) and waiting for a closer try for a gty. The specials have been so good this year, particularly those balcony gty. The hard thing is it was still an excellent price even for an E. So many cruise specials, so tempting! :)

And did you see Pushka that there was a special through a TA on QM2 from Santiago (Valparaiso) to Sydney - 22 days - for about $1500 pp/ts guarantee inside. Or they had it for about $1600 inc gratuities, specialty dining credit ($US135) and reduced deposit. Pity it is in Feb though as it was very tempting. :o I don't think Mr LtL would be in for it as quite few sea days.
