Cinnamon, pumpkin, yam ???

Four years ago on CCL Valor I had a delicious vegetarian dish of which I can only remember part of the name.

 

Cinnamon, pumpkin, yam*,*,*. It was an entree I think and it was delicious. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Yep--I had that a few times. Cinnamon pumpkin, squash, yam and cheddar cheese pie. It's basically a pot pie with those veggies and spices.

They had it on our Victory cruise in January (the first night I think). I thought it was kind of dry, but maybe I just had it on an off night.

Yes, I saw on the menus that they still have that entree.

 

We tried it on our last cruise and thought it was terrible!:eek:

Just curious why it was terrible. The one I had was as described on the menu and was good and a light alternative.

Sounds delish! I don't eat meat (seafood yes) and this dish of delish sound like sounds like something I would really enjoy! I must find in on the Miracle next week :)

When it's good it's very very good, when it's bad it's horrid.

Love that dish but that one time on the Splendor, yuck. It wasn't mixed right so I got a chunk of partially melted cheese.

Only once I found it on the Lido. I was very happy.

My DD 14 is a vegetarian and is very picky, she had this on our last cruise and loved it!!

I had a taste and it was very good.

This is something that I used to LOVE and ordered it every cruise, then seems to me I had a bad one, so I have stayed away from it for a while. Maybe I will try my next cruise, assuming they still have it, and see if it was just a fluke that it was bad (dry and tasteless) that one time. I normally like vegetarian entrees. Or pasta, or chicken. I do not like steak or much red meat at all, with the exception of Guy's Burgers. Those I do like :D

Looks like something that I would try, and probably like too.

 

I am not vegetarian, but I don't eat much red meat or pork anymore, and have liked most if not all of the vegetarian entrees that I have had in Carnival's MDR.

 

Hoping they still have this on my upcoming cruise in Nov.

I was on the Sensation at the beginning of the month and I got this. I get it every cruise. I'm not a big meat eater and every time I've had it I thought it was good.
