I have received a promotion 2 me

In a form of a check with an "approximate"

Value of $1499.

I need to call NCl at a toll free number

If a call ASAP I get 2 rountrip air tickets

Anyone get one of these?

Is there a valid free offer?

Sounds fishy to me. Would a good idea to double check everything. If I received an offer like this, I would simply toss it in the trash.

Really? You think somebody just wants to GIVE you a free cruise. And, pay for your air ticket out of their pocket?

Somebody will pay, that's for sure.

Agreed--absolutely--that most of these "free cruises" are frauds.

Not ALWAYS, though. BFF started getting you-have-won-a-free-cruise phone calls last year and hung up on them the first five times. Turned out that she had, indeed, registered for assorted door prizes at a conference she'd attended a few weeks earlier and had, indeed won a cruise. Not just a balcony cabin for two on the cruise (Epic out of Miami) but also airfare there and back, gratuities, and gorgeous pre-cruise hotel.

She took me along. It was wonderful--and completely free. Provided jointly by NCL and the conference organization.

Key here is that she actually HAD registered for such a drawing--even though she'd largely forgotten about it.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. It had a check in the amount of $1,999. The first thing I did was to tear it up and put it in the trash where it belongs. If NCL wants to give me a free cruise (which they have offered through CAS), they will send me the information in the form of their post cards with their logo all over it, or give me a call, since they have my phone number, or email me, since they have my email address, they wouldn't send me an offer with a phony check. Got the same free cruise worth 1499, on NCL, but I know it's some type of scam, but I am still very curious! I know there's a timeshare involved as well. I treys googling the name and phone number, but couldn't find anything out! Has anyone actually called them?

I have also won a NCL cruise too. But I was present at the drawing.

Unfortunately there are a lot of scams out there.

Glad sometimes they are for real.
