Magellan's closed for months

I needed to buy some travel accessories from Magellan, but their web site indicated that they were down and would be up when the weather got better. That seemed to say that the recent storms had disabled them, but when that persisted and I called Customer Support, they said that the company had been sold, and would not be back in business until the spring sometime. So don't thing that they might be back anytime soon.

 

Fortunately Travel Smith had similar products!

Magellan's had nice products but most are available elsewhere.

Magellan is one of Academy's store brands. This is not the same as the products sold by the catalog/internet company named Magellan.

A shame they've closed. At one time or another, I must have bought everything in their catalog. I was at Passport Health yesterday for our travel shots and found they carry some of the same type of stuff -- the insect repellants, the money-things-that-go-around-your-neck. If you have a Passport Health nearby, perhaps you could try there.
