Canberra Meetup.

For Saturday's meet up at the SC Yacht club 2pm.

 

Okay, I have visited the club and checked it out for Saturday.

1) For those who are not members of the club, I can sign you in on Saturday, Just get them to page me or flag me down.

2) We will be sitting in the area by the main bar or just around the corner in the alcove.

3) Snack foods and meals are available in these areas and the restaurant is near by.

4) Drink prices are very reasonable, $4-$5.80 for beers and ciders, $6.90-$9 for wines and Cocktails for $9- $10.90.

It was a great to catch up with quite a few people and discuss various aspects of cruises, the ships, the itineraries and travel in general. see you at the next meet up.:D

 

BTW, the venue worked really well.:D

 

 

No problems signing guests in?

Hi Canberrians,

 

We love to cruise and just recently moved back in Canberra. we are doing our first Australian cruise in 14 days. but have done 8 cruises in America. We love cruising with royal and they have been the only cruise line we have cruised with.

Yes, memberships gets you into all of their clubs and they are cheap.

 

Ordinary Single $10.00 yearly, $25.00 3 years

Ordinary Family $12.00, $30.00

Senior Single $5.00, $12.00

Pensioner Single $5.00, $12.00

Single Student $5.00, $12.00

Senior Family $6.00, $15.00

Pensioner Family $6.00, $15.00

They are all Southern Cross clubs but have various locations around Canberra.

Woden,

Yarralumla (Yacht Club),

Tuggeranong,

Jamison,

Kaleen, and

Turner.

there is also the

M.V. Southern Cross (also Yarralumla)

and the Gym in Woden/Phillip.:D

I didn't know they were all affiliated.

 

Funny how some clubs are so passionate about signing in, other's couldn't care less.

It is the licensing conditions for having pokies, they have to have it.:D

 

 

I know that, it just amazes me how slack some are about it, with their license on the line and some pretty hefty fines.
