I am reaching out to you on the CC boards because there is great confusion on your website, depending where you look, and with travel agents and different online travel websites regarding this particular itinerary.

 

We are on Celebrity Reflection, Oct 12, 2015. Today, if you go to book the cruise, the itinerary will read as follows:

 

Day 1 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 5:00PM

Day 2 At Sea

Day 3 Santorini, Greece Tendered 2:00PM 10:00PM

We're on a slightly different (in order, not in ports visited) version of this cruise in April of 2016. I am going to be a far less than happy camper if Celebrity starts changing the order around on us. Please, Celebrity, pick an itinerary that works with whatever variables you're dealing with and stick with it!

Several of us have called Celebrity and have gotten different answers. Different TA's have different answers. This is why I posted here. I really hope Celebrity is reading and can clarify this once and for all. Otherwise Celebrity is going to end up with a lot of unhappy cruisers!:eek:

Although we love when guests book excursions with us, and we highly recommend it - we still don't want confusion for any itinerary we offer.

Same problem with the May 18 cruise on the Reflection. The itinerary on your booking form apparently is the correct one. Also if you look to to book excursions with Celebrity, the dates match the ones on the booking form, at least mine does.

 

Several calls over past few months to Celebrity and they still apparently cannot fix their website.

And as I stated in my other thread, this will continue to be an issue affecting all the 11 night Med cruises on Reflection this summer until you fix this.

 

Port authorities in Kusadasi and Istanbul STILL have Reflection docking on the June 12 for Istanbul and June 14 for Kusadasi for the June 8th cruise!

That is not the reason for my initial post. Celebrity does not need a major headache from its cruisers. A correct itinerary helps in planning your entire cruise - from specialty dining time, to spa appointments, you name it - it's important.

 

PS - I see from your others posts, that you book private tours, too!

Thank you for trying to clarify this. I am on the October 12, 2015 cruise too. I specifically had my travel agent call Celebrity last evening and he was told this is the correct itinerary:

How can one company have so many discrepancies?

 

How do I know who to believe?

 

If I didn't already have airfare booked, I would cancel the whole cruise just because this isn't worth the aggravation.

Hope this helps everyone on these cruises. I did some research on my own. I actually found something that makes sense. I went on several different popular online Travel booking websites. On all these websites, the cruises are listed separately by date. It seems that only the very first cruise of the season is the one with the different itinerary.

 

Celebrity has all the sail dates from April 27 through Oct 12 lumped together, thus when you go to book on the Celebrity website, it shows you the itinerary of April 27, 2015 no matter what date you choose.

A friend I am traveling with also asked her travel agent about the itinerary and he got an answer from Celebrity - "Mable in the shore excursion department at Celebrity...said they had a glitch on the home page which they are working on changing, it should be corrected by next week."

 

So hopefully, it really will be fixed on the Celebrity website by next week. I am feeling more confident that the tineraries are as follows, and will feel convinced when Celebrity gets the website fixed.

Thanks for bringing this up, it may very well have escaped my notice. I had written down the schedule from the booking page and was using that to make/plan our dining reservations and etc. I had not yet looked into tour booking. I don't know if I would have been made aware of the correct schedule as I usually do not book the ships tours.

I think Ship's tours would be OK as they would be linked to the correct schedule.

The trouble would come if you/ or a group tried to book a 'private' tour.
