Just received a comp room in my email but it is only for a few sailing and none further out then the end of October 2017.

Do they allow you to choose another sailing that is not offered in the email as in further out?

I had noted (above) that my husband never received this offer but lo and behold, he did receive it yesterday (at least 5 days after I received mine) and his was also a much more abbreviated list with way fewer sailings than that one I received. For instance, the Nov. 19 (Thanksgiving week) cruise that we ultimately booked was not even listed on his offer.

So I guess we are given a clue here ! Perhaps they distribute these offers by tier level and vary the offerings by tier level as well ? ...or maybe they send out a second round of offers and vary the itins based on how well or poorly the original offers sold ? Of course, I already know that they vary the cabin categories based on tier status but I never realized that they potentially vary the itins as well.

To answer your question, Sass4, no, I do not believe that you can choose a sailing/itin that is not listed in your offer. My reason for believing that is b/c we have a friend, also a CR member, who wanted to join us for Thanksgiving and he was not extended the comp offer as he never received the comp offer email at all. They told him "no" to a comp room on our sailing so I think that the offer is limited to those who receive the email offer and only the itins that are listed in their offer. I found this particularly interesting b/c our friend is a higher CR tier level than either of us and they still refused to extend him the offer.

As an aside to this conversation, I booked airfare for the comp cruise yesterday and staggered at how much the airfare was. I should have known that airfare would be high since we are returning on the Sunday after Thanksgiving but if I had realized HOW much it was going to be I probably would have passed on the comp cruise. It is going to cost us over $1400 to fly ECONOMY from DCA-MIA (RT in and out of FLL was over $3K !). As a comparison, last week we paid $1144 to fly RT from DCA-MIA FIRST CLASS for a Harmony cruise. This comp cruise is becoming pretty pricey.

I’m on board Oasis right now. I got rated at 6 hours for $50 average. They tell me so far I only got 237 points does that sound about right? I was playing Blackjack. At this rate I will have to play another 64 hours to qualify for a free cruise.

Who did you ask [how many points you have] ? The points from the tables are completely different from points accumulated on slots so if you ask the cage how many points you have they have no visibility whatsoever into how many points you have on the tables.

Did you notice most of the comped cruises are almost all for the western caribbean. I believe alot of people cancelled their cruises when the route changed from eastern to western. I also received the offer and it states you must book by 10/31/17 but all the cruises listed sailed before 10/31/17. There was one cruise going to the Bahamas.

Some people received offers that went out through the end of November. So my guess is their marketing department may have just changed the listing of cruises for some, but left all the rest the same.

I asked the girl at the little host desk.

Hi Snoop,

Can you get the Casino Host and Casino Managers names. I am on the Oasis in about 4 weeks and would like to know.

Thanks in advance for the info and I know how frustrating it is to accurately get your table points accounted for. I play craps exclusively and with the limited hours those tables are open and the "weak tracking/assignment" of points to table players, it makes it tougher to get a good read on our play/value.

Well here’s the thing, the wager and time is accurate. Very accurate actually. I’m just shocked at how little points I accumulated.

Yes I will get their names when they open tonight.

When I got the email (maybe a week ago) the cruises were well into November. When my husband got his (yesterday) there were just a few cruises and nothing in November. Maybe the November ones filled up more quickly.

We booked over Thanksgiving and that cruise is no longer listed in the available cruises (at least it was not in the one my husband received yesterday).

While the cruise was "free" the airfare was horrific so I'm not sure whether we got a deal or not ! We paid more for our economy seats than we did recently for First Class seats on the same itin. AWFUL !

Anyone know who the host is now on Grandeur? I know Kaia -sp?- was going on vacation. Katherine

When I was on Grandeur last (9-2- thru 9-7) she said she had 8 more cruises, which would have put her through the first week of November or somewhere close to that....so I think Kaia is still there for a few more weeks, anyway.

Well, that was the right place to ask. I know it is very hard for us table players to get awarded fairly. The system is so arbitrary. Good luck.

Agreed. If Pit Boss is watching generally tracking is good. It used to be when I wagered a bit of $100 or more, dealer would acknowledge my bet to Pit Boss. Doesn’t seem to happen as much anymore.

I asked the dealer if he/she was tracking my bets, they recently say, they recorded my buy in. If that was the case, I should just buy in with a $1000 and then cash out my chips each night and buy in again the next night.

I will say I only played one night on Freedom week before last and got a $400 certificate. I did wager a fair sum.

Before I ventured over to the tables, I racked up 80 points on slots in about an hour. Never bet less than $1 or $2 per spin. Some higher.

Still very confused. I been rated as playing 26 hours at an average of $50 per hand. I’ve only accumulated 1600 points. Others around me claim to have played pretty much the same on their previous cruise and they sale free.

Hi All, thanks for the great info. First time sailing on Anthem. Does anyone know the name of the casino host?

The Casino Host is Daniella who will be on board until December and the Assit. Casino Host is Denisia who will be on board until January.

Anthem is our favorite ship, let me know if you have any questions. Hope you enjoy her as much as we do.

Best of Luck in the casino :)
