Has anyone been successful submitting and receiving confirmation and loyalty # within the last month or so?

I submitted it twice (once a month ago - said they didn't have it and once about two weeks ago) and I haven't received anything back. When I spoke to someone on the phone, he said he would expedite it since I just made a booking, but obviously that didn't happen.

Just curious about others.

I never got an email stating my information was received. So I called MSC to verify they had infact received it. The agent went into the system, saw it, and then the next day I had an email from the agent I spoke to with my new cards attached as PDF's.

Give them a call.

How many days to qualify for this card??

It isn't just days, it is also the experience and on-board spend which includes the daily service charge.

Did you just speak to any agent or a specific department?

I explained to the first person I got on the phone what I was trying to accomplish. Seemed much more helpful and able to solve an issue than most phone reps. May have been luck of the draw.

I'm interested in doing this but have never had an Elite/Diamond/ Platinum membership card to send a copy of. We can't be the only people this applies to so how have others got over this hurdle?

For Royal Caribbean I logged into the website to the section that showed my status level, account #, name, and made a screen capture that I pasted into MS Paint and saved as an image file. That is what I submitted to MSC

Send a screen shot of your "account" with relevant loyalty club eg Captains Club or Crown and Anchor as an attachment to an email

I have a question...

I'm silver with MSC already and with Royal Caribbean I'm platinum

Now do they combined the awards?

They're not merging, the two are not connected at all. I believe the status match is for new members only - but someone else may be able to confirm that?

Thank you! The very first time I called MSC back in mid-December, it was a weekend and the rep was no more helpful than reading the website. However at the end of the month, I called two separate times to make reservations for the Seaside and after making the bookings, I explained my situation to them and they were both extremely kind and helpful, however it ended up with nothing done.

I will attempt to call again with that explicit intention and hope I finally get the email confirmation! Thanks again!

Sent two RCI match requests with the online form for myself and DW three weeks ago but no word yet. Did receive the popup notification that it was submitted successfully. Looking to book for early July but don't want to do it without the match being setup first. Will give them another week or so but don't plan to chase it down to get it activated.

Getting the popup that says everything was submitted successfully means nothing. I got it twice and, after not hearing anything for weeks, I called and they had no record that I had submitted anything. It took almost another week to finally get it done.

Also, I don't think I would wait for the match program come through before I booked; after they finally squared everything away for me, I was able to get the 5% discount applied to my existing booking. But, of course, that's your call.

I sent in a request before Christmas and I also got the pop up message that it had been submitted. Have heard nothing so far so I called them yesterday and got a nice lady, but with the same song and dance. "They are backed up and working as hard and fast as they can, give them another week or two, please." Well, my cruise isn't until Apr, so got a little if I don't hear from them I will can them again at the end of the month.

I also submitted forms for Military discount and Loyalty match before Christmas, and have not heard from them.

I asked my TA to inquire and they were told that MSC was very backed up due to sales and matches, but would take care of these issues while on the phone. Received the military discount along with "Black Card" status due to being "Elite" on Celebrity. Don't know who they talked to, but my TA came through for us.:)

Good info regarding the popup, also good to know we can book and match later. I'll give them another week or so - still waiting for some friends' approval to take the time off anyhow :-)

When you actually try to book with your new loyalty card number (we got Black based on a match), it may default back to your preexisting MSC level if you are already in the system. Make sure and insist the new number is on the booking.

Just a follow up. As of today, January 19th, still no response from MSC. I have re-submitted the forms, contacted them by phone and was given an email address to send for additional support so they would forward to the person who actually sets the match up and have contacted them twice. My travel agent contacted her MSC contact and still nothing. Seriously rethinking my booking with MSC. Anyone with additional help would be appreciated.

I submitted my request, three calls later, after being told each time to wait a few more weeks because they were busy, I submitted again and called again. Three days after that last call I had my loyalty match.

I then submitted the match for my DH. I waited 4 days and resubmitted. I waited 4 more days and resubmitted. I waited 4 MORE days, resubmitted and called immediately after resubmitting. The next morning I had his Loyalty match.

Wowsers! What an ordeal, but it appears you just have to stay on it or it won't happen.

Submitted my first request back in early December and the second request at the end of December when I read to do so (and booked Seaside.)

Finally yesterday I received the email for both myself and my partner and low and behold, they got his right and mine wrong. I submitted the exact same thing for both of us (we have the same loyalty match and # of points with Royal.)

Just seems to be a pain now getting this straightened out. I called back and of course that department was busy so the agent sent an email....I know how that worked out before.

Hopefully I'll get this straightened out next week. I'm not sure if that department works on weekends but I'll wait a few days for an updated email before I call again.

Hello

I managed to successfully get a status match for a Black card and have gone ahead and made my booking, but when go to the voyagers club website and try to access the booking it tells me that the selected booking can not be found. I know that my agent has put the booking through and that the booking number is valid as I have taken in from my booking confirmation

Is any one else having issues and has anyone managed to log into the Voyagers club successfully? if so would you mind sharing with me how you managed this

Thanks

Lachelli
