FTTF Now available for my trip, is it worth it?

My upcoming cruise will be my second time with fttf. Both cruises had a tendering port so that added to my value. I also used guest services a lot the first time. This one, I will have an infant so boarding quickly, having my cabin ready and express luggage delivery are especially attractive to me. I say buy it while it is available and you can always change your mind and cancel.

I've only done one cruise so far(I have an upcoming one too) and I had FTTF. I think it was helpful. I liked not having to wait in a loooooong line at guest services and embarkment went very quick with it.

I will definitely get it for my upcoming cruise.

FTTF is a personal preference. We love it and have purchased it for our next two cruises. Regardless of tender service, we love to board the ship as soon as possible, have immediate access to our stateroom where we can drop off carry-ons. Priority line for guest services is a wonderful perk.

We loved it though our ship was delayed due to fog so the benefit of early luggage was lost on us because it embarkation was awful.

Otherwise we loved the benefit of less line at Guest svcs and especially the benefit for tendering quick access. We booked excursions that were not with carnival but we still needed to be off the ship early. FTTF was worth it for us.

I am booked on the Sunshine for march 5 2016. FTTF just became available should i use it? Chris

The only way to determine if it's "worth it" to YOU is to read all of the benefits of FTTF, then decide if those extra benefits are of interest and of use to you. For some of us, it is worth it. For others, not so much.

We have two rooms. The biggest perk I can see for FTTF is being able to get to your room as soon as you board. I am considering just getting it for only one room and then the kids can hang our in ours if needed until theirs is ready. Has anyone else done it this way?

Something to keep in mind. If there is anyone in your group (family member, friend, whomever) that does not have FTTF, they won't be able to board at the same time you do. You'll need to make arrangements ahead of time as to where to meet up on the ship.

I love FTTF and have purchased it for 6 cruises now. As others have said I love having access to my room right away, and enjoying every moment I can possibly have on the ship. Its great not having to lug around your carry-on's, too.

Also VERY nice to be escorted to the tenders, you can have your breakfast at your leisure.

Thank you. Good point. I already have the 10:00 to 10:30 slot reserved to check in. Does that mean we all would check in early together but could be in different "lines" to board?

If you have a suite does Fttf add any more perks?

From what I understand the only perk with a suite is priority embarkation. It's really just a matter of if the other perks of fttf are worth the money to you. We have a suite booked on our next cruise and my parents and grandparents will be sailing in ocean view rooms. Since we will all be arriving at the same time they wanted to be able to board earlier so they got it. We ended up getting it as well because we will be stopping at a tender port and will be traveling with a one year old so for us it was totally worth it even if we already had priority embarkation.

Thank you, I guess that is just on Carnival? I love being on the ship as fast as possible.

Yes. Carnival is the only cruise line as far as I know that offers it. There are many other benefits besides boarding soon after they start the process. I need to get it one more cruise then after that I will be Platinum. I look forward to saving $60 each time and will still encourage others to get it.

Yes. It is so worth it for us. We travel with our grandson (10). So nice to be able to get to room asap and drop off carryons. I'm also one of those people that like to unpack as soon as I get to room so early arrival of luggage is great. Also last time I had the reduced priced gift cards that I wanted to put on sail and sign cards asap and the line for doing this off FTTF was so long and the priority line was 1 person ahead of me saved me at least 1 hour in line if not more. Would spend the $50.00 bucks every time.
