Wave61 Posted January 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Just reading on Carnival's website that bathrobes are available upon requst. It states that 2 robes are provided in all suites and all cloud 9 spa cabins. For all other accomodations, robes will be provided upon request, during turndown service the first night of the cruise. Is this something new because they were already in our cabin so we didn't have to request them. I suppose this is another reason for checking off evening cabin service. JMAE Posted January 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Yes, it was put in place at the same time as the service selection. It is on the card they give you to complete along with a question about changing your sheets mid way through the cruise.

summersigh Posted January 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Off Sunshine last week - there were 2 robes hanging in the closet when we got there.
bigdog1958 Posted January 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Off Sunshine last week - there were 2 robes hanging in the closet when we got there. They are rolling this out as the date comes up for washing them. They wash the robes once a month per cabin, so as that date comes up, they will take the robes from the cabin and wash them and from then on, you will have to request them if you want them.:):)

The robe is laundered (if used) after each cruise.
crusinpsychRN Posted January 23, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2016 GROSS!!!! They only each once a month?!?! [emoji40] It's a joke. The robes are great for lying on the bed and covering up so you don't mess up the made up bed.
jensambo Posted January 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I requested robes for our cabin on the Pride. Never got them.
the nurse Posted January 23, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Just off the Pride. We had to ask for both robes and beach towels from our room steward. Only had to wait a few minutes to get them.
kelkel2 Posted January 23, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I am on the Breeze currently and had robes when we got on the ship. We are in an aft balcony, not a spa. We did not have to request them. Is this something that varies by ship?
