I'm sailing in R 412 next month, love the mid ship penthouse suite cabins. Yes , do take advantage of breakfast at Sabitini's, it's a lovely perk. Those suites are not over the pool. I'm over the ice cream bar which is closed at night.

I think you will be quite happy with your choice. Accept that you have made the choice and don't try to second guess yourself at this point. I'm sure you will love the suite for your TA. Don't forget to do breakfast in Sabatini's. Enjoy your cruise. I am jealous. :)

Thanks Thrak!!

We have been fortunate enough to have had upsells 3 times and loved then all: Star Princess Barbados PH Suite, C415, best of all and no noise! Then the Golden Princess Corsica PH Suite S703, also noisy but great. Lastly the Caribbean Princess San Juan PH Suite R415, noisy but great. Regardless Emerald Princess, Aft Vista Suite D737 is a Suite that people seek out! Aft, Large Balcony and a Suite, what is there not to like?

Breakfast at Sabatini's or Crown Grill?

Just Mike

No more Sabitini's on the Emerald so I think suite breakfast is now in the Crown Grill but we'll find out!!

I took a cruise on the Crown Princess and was in suite R-412. On that ship that cabin was under the ice cream bar.

Yesterday I got our very first upsell offer.

We were booked in mini suite E730 on the Crown, the email stated it was for either a Premium suite or Penthouse suite for $329.00 PP.

I checked and C749 & A751 was available so I called. It took them about 3 hours to call me back and by that time those two cabins were already gone so I declined the Riviera mid ship suite. I was so bummed out about it.

I checked early this morning and A751 was available so I called back and got it! I am beyond excited! The current fare for this cabin was $2799.00 PP so for a total of $658 we are in an aft suite!

Oh, and we have $500.00 OBC!

Good deal!!

We took the Riviera deck suite for a few reasons even though many here said it may have not been a great choice, since we could have had an aft suite.

We are on a TA in early April - really not weather for using an aft suite balcony. We like being mid ship because it is close to the areas of the ship we would frequent like the casino, Churchills, and the IC. We are only slightly concerned about Lido deck noise as I said, weather is usually not conducive to heavy traffic on Lido AND we are early risers so waking us is not an issue.

I would never turn down a suite up sell at such a great price because the perks alone are worth the $$ regardless of location.

I'm sure you will love your aft suite up sell.
