Regal Princess Diverted?

Looking at the webcam and the ship traffic site, it appears as though the Regal has diverted to Grand Turk this morning. Does anyone know what's going on? There are two ships at the cruise pier and it looks like the Regal is at anchor or holding position a bit off the pier.

I hope it's not diverted for a medical emergency again! The past couple of months I've heard of two times the Regal was diverted to Turks and Caicos, once while we were on it in December.

 

Has anyone else heard anything?

It does sound like a medical emergency. Not too long ago we were on the Emerald and that is what happened.

It'll be interesting to see how lone Regal will be in Grand Turk.

Maybe someone actually on the ship will post something.

The Regal is no longer in Turks and Caicos. Does anyone know yet what happened today?

I was on the Regal this week (2/21 - 2/28). We had 2 medical emergencies....One was what the above is talking about and the other happened Fri. evening 2/26. Both times we went to Grand Turk.

Hope all goes well for the person. Back on our Regal Princess cruise, on our last sea day we diverted to Grand Turks for a medical emergency.
