Halojin Posted February 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2016 we have booked Obstructed Balcony with big OBC promotion, today they have regular Balcony with only $100 more than Obstructed view. do you think we can change the room and keep our promotion (big OBC $600 per person)
chrysalis Posted February 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask....
NavyVeteran Posted February 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2016 You cannot have today's price with yesterday's OBC - or today's OBC with yesterday's price. You will need to choose one or the other.
cruzsnooze Posted February 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2016 If you are before final payment you can cancel and rebook at todays rate and promo.
Jeremiah1212 Posted February 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Can you keep an eye out for other available cabins in your category that aren't as obstructed as the one you currently have? It seems like there are a fair number of balconies that are advertised as obstructed that really are not.

Eagle_and_hawk Posted February 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2016 We did it on our last cruise with no problem. We booked a mini-suite in the back as only thing left that we would take. Then a couple of weeks later, one in the front opened up and we moved to it. It was actually less and we got a refund from Princess & no change in the big OBC we had. Then a full suite opened a couple of weeks later, and we paid the price difference and moved to it. All the time, our OBC stayed the same as original booking even though the original offerings had expired. So, I would ask to see what they say. Wishing on a star Posted February 24, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 24, 2016 We actually moved down one slight notch... Lost some of the extra onboard credit that had been offered by our TA. Darn!!! (still have what Princess had offered, just not as much of the extra thrown in by the agency) Final payment date is coming up, we are going to ask, again, if we might have the full OBC back. cherylandtk Posted February 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 24, 2016 It depends on whether the promotion you originally booked under is still available or not. Best way to find out is call and ask.
