tandemcruzr Posted March 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I saw somewhere that buying FTTF was better than being an ELITE quest. Please elaborate -- where did you see it? And what did they define as ELITE?

Schoifmom Posted March 8, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I saw somewhere that buying FTTF was better than being an ELITE quest. Perhaps you should define "elite quest" for us.
cruzeluver Posted March 8, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I think you may be mixing up your cruise lines. FTTF (Faster To The Fun) is an option sold by Carnival that allows guest priority embarkation, tendering and a few other perks. Elite is a tier in Celebrity's loyalty program, just above select but below Elite Plus.

Havingfun2010 Posted March 8, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I saw somewhere that buying FTTF was better than being an ELITE quest. It is, because you get to pay for it and be happy that you are now getting a product that is free, and paid for it!
Hog Rider Posted March 8, 2016 Author #15 Share Posted March 8, 2016 It is, because you get to pay for it and be happy that you are now getting a product that is free, and paid for it! Are you suggesting that FTTF is a bad thing?
cruzeluver Posted March 8, 2016 #16 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Are you suggesting that FTTF is a bad thing? If it has to do with Carnival, that poster will say it is a bad thing.
TerReuv Posted March 8, 2016 #17 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Are you suggesting that FTTF is a bad thing? Don't even engage this poster. He hates Carnival and spouts all sorts of nonsense on this board. FTTF is not a bad thing and it is not something that you got previously without paying. We have gotten FTTF on all of our previous cruises and it is certainly worth it. Especially if you tender to any ports.

As a company, if you can take people's money, and give the a free product in return, it's a good thing for the company. I just don't understand why people get excited over paying for free stuff. :D
