Oasis of the Seas - Tips | Tricks | Secrets

Anyone been in cabin 6608? We booked a guarantee and were assigned it. It's pretty much where we would've booked if we'd chosen, mid ship, but we may have gone with a higher deck. Especially curious how the lifeboats affect the view!

The fiancé and I will be on the Sept. 3rd cruise as well and these tips are all great!

If I had to add a tip it would be to check out Boleros the latin club. Last year on Oasis it seemed to get better and better as the week went on. The live band was really good playing a lot of the classics! Plus lots of sitting areas too!

Never had a wait at Starbucks last year either so I look forward to that this time around!

Look forward to another fun trip!

On the Allure, at 7am directly across from the dog house on the boardwalk, they bring out a cart of fresh doughnuts. First come first serve, do it yourself. I don't think they bring any more when they run out, so you have to get there early or you miss out.

Hubby & I are sailing on December 23rd. I am really loving all the ideas and can't wait for our cruise. Where are you, Christmas?

We are too!! We have never sailed during the holidays before.

Don't forget to join the roll call!

If you had a choice which cabin would you choose on the Oasis

11728 or 11692

Definitely 11692. You'll be much closer to stairs and elevators. 11728 will be a looong walk from the elevators. Now ... with that said - I have 10727 right across the hall, one level down. But we wanted the balcony view of the water and Aquatheater in a Boardwalk balcony room. Looks like we'll be doing a lot of walking. 😄

The Boardwalk Doghouse (near the carousel) has different types of buns/rolls in the drawers behind the server, but you have to ask for them. The sausage dog with grilled onions on the cheese roll was out of this world good.

Wait!!! Love the doghouse but the dang hard huge buns they were giving us last time were terrible! Thanks for this tip! Ps..My FIL was going all the way to the windjammer to put chili in a cup to take to the doghouse for his hotdogs! 😂

Make sure you look into all the "small wonders." They're all around the ship -- some look like upside brass telescopes and others like chrome binoculars. Lots of little surprises in them. I know for sure there's one at the aft entrance to the Casino -- a brass one and another chrome one near the Rising Tide bar (maybe Allure?) or at least on the Royal Promenade somewhere. Guest Services may or may not have a list. I always forget to ask for one, and I'm sure I've missed some.

We were just getting ready to go on Oasis for the third time a year ago. Wish we were going again, but getting ready to book Harmony!

Happy Sailing!

Hey everyone,

got a cruise booked for May 21st 2017. Has anyone ever had cabin #7199? I know this mid ship, supposed to be overlooking central park. My concern is space as we have three adult women traveling! LOL I have already had heartache about the daybed (sofa). Someone else has already suggested I ask for an egg crate when we get on. Has anyone ever used the daybed? I told the other ladies that I would sleep on that. hope I didn't make a mistake!! LOL lots of great tips too!!

Karen

On the Oasis (and Allure) there is public seating Deck 7 aft (near the rock climbing wall entrance). I didn't see a lot of people ever using it, great views of the shows going on in the aquatheatre and a good spot for sail-away.

Is this open 24hrs? On port or starboard side?
