More than likely then you've used a TA and have been booked under their particular group rate.

I priced out my next cruise and it was indeed $200 cheaper. So called my agent, he looked into it and came out $250 cheaper. I am booking in Canadian$ so maybe the slightly better exchange rate than 3 months ago helped.

Sales are 24/7/365. But not actual sales just hype to lure new customers. Prices go up and down all the time.

 

We have a cruise booked this winter that we paid 2,500.00 for that was pricing for almost 5,000.00 a couple months ago "on sale". Now it's around 4,000.00 "on sale".........
