I know Elite and up are Diamond on Royal, does that mean free laundry bag?

Unfortunately, RCL's laundry benefit is not nearly as good as Celebrity's. For Diamond, it is now $10 off a $30 bag of Wash N Fold. I think you now need to be D+ to get a free bag. I remember when I was Platinum on Royal and we got $5 off the Wash N Fold which was only $25 back then, so my benefits have not really increased at all with laundry services.

I didn't see it as a bennie for Diamond

It's the #1 thing we LOVE about Celebrity's loyalty rewards....

No free laundry on RCCL ships. But they give you 3 1/2 hours of free drinks in a dedicated lounge plus 3 drinks on your card every single day of your cruise!

Cool... I had heard about the lounge but three drinks good anytime as well?

We are Diamond on Royal and the Wash 'n Fold $10 discount is no longer available on a 7-night cruise. You now get the $10 discount on an 8-night or longer cruise. No discount on 7-nighter for Diamond. We were on the Liberty in July and noticed the change because we always take advantage of the discount. $10 discount is not that much of a difference, but I think it was a petty thing for Royal to do.

Why go on a cruise and do laundry unless it's more then 14 days.

Because even though we drive, I don't like carrying (for a 12 night cruise):

12 polo shirts

12 tee shirts

12 tops

12 pairs of shorts....you get the picture

When you fly and land tour using busses, trains, metros, and ferries you learn that less is more.
