Dinning options questions

We will be on the summit on April and the only dinning option is the classic. The traditional is unavailable for that trip. Is this new on celebrity to skip the traditional dining option?

 

And for the dinning packages we are looking for the 3 dinners package and have questions about this. I called celebrity yesterday about it and it still unclear. On the summit is there only Tuscan an qzine to choose from? And with 3 dinnings how do it works. The person said that it was mandatory to try both of them once. And is there some better deals on boarding day for these packages with bonus ?

Not sure I understand your question. There is no "classic" dining option of which I am aware. There are "traditional early dining" "traditional late dining" and "select dining"

Celebrity has 2 dining options:

 

Traditional - set time, same table, wait staff & table mates.

 

Select- you can dine any time, reservations not required. You most likely will not sit a the same table of have the same waitstaff. You can opt to join a shared table with others or get a table for just your party.

 

Have never heard of Classic on Celebrity.

What's strange is the Normandie is on the list but the celebrity employee said that it was removed. She gave us only Tuscan and qzine on her list

Don't worry, there will be DINING time options in all the specialty restaurants. There will likely be discounts of between 30-50%. The restaurant managers were hovering around the Martini bar on the Eclipse with these offers. I'm sure it depends on how busy a particular evening is.

Are you waitlisted for Early Traditional or Late Traditional? How long ago did you book? It has been our experience lately when we book (usually 12-18 months before the sail date) and always request Early Traditional we are waitlisted for that time. Then about a month or two after booking we are given our request. If you don't want to wait then go with Select Dining and reserve the time you want for each evening. The longer you wait to decide you may not get the time you want in Select Dining either.

Sorry for the mistake it's select dining for our cruise in April 2017. Like mentioned above the traditional dining is not available on the celebrity website for dining options.

If you want traditional, best bet is to go immediately after boarding to the dining room. The Maitre'd will be available and since Select dining is so popular now, you should have no problem getting traditional.
