Grandeur Question--Configuration for 4 in "Spacious Ocean View"?

Hi,

I am getting ready to book on the Grandeur to New England next summer. However, I would like to see how 4 sleep in what is termed a "spacious ocean view". Does the sofa pull out? Anyone have a photo of a 4 set up?

Is that a handicap accessible room? The only thing I found called "Spacious Oceanview" was handicapped accessible.

No, there are I think 16 of these. They have "panoramic" windows and are on decks 7 and 8. I read somewhere that they used to be the library(?)

Spacious is a relative term. These cabins are larger than a typical OV. But, the window is the most spacious things.

 

We have sailed Grandeur 5 times. We like the ship, but the cabins are small.

Thank you! Looking at the photo and description I was concerned that the sofa bed did not pull out, as it was for one, and a cot would be brought in for the fourth.

Is this the same thing as the "preferred" oceanview ?

RC counts the sofa bed as sleeping two. On most ships I think it works for kids, but wouldn't want to sleep two adults on the sofa bed. Once made up there is very little room in the cabin.

Honestly-I'd probably get two adjacent cabins. Teens will prefer a dark inside cabin- because they love to sleep in. If you can get two insides or an outside cabin and an inside- you might all be much happier. Two bathrooms, two tvs, more storage, etc.

Where are you seeing that there are teens? The extra two could be adults.

It's 151 sq. ft...and that sq. footage INCLUDES the bathroom space. I wouldn't do 4 in a room that size.

It would be for two small sisters who sleep together anyhow, so sharing a pullout would not be a big deal for them
