Problem Booking Premier Cruise

I recently received my latest Premier Cruise offer in the mail and on CCL website's VIFP offers. I was trying to book one of the cruises in February, but when I put in my VIFP #, it only offers the cruise as an Early Saver. I did click on the button underneath to get other rates, but no Premier there either. I thought perhaps the rate was lower as an Early Saver, but I want the cash and other amenities with the Premier offer.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I would contact my PVP with the question, but unfortunately my last PVP (who was great) left and my new one is evidently really new. Example, on one of the earlier Premier offers, my sister was going to get $500 cash and I asked her how much I would get since it doesn't show the amount on the website and I hadn't received the offer in the mail yet. She insisted that I too would get $500, but when I checked directly with Players Club I learned that I would actually get $400. So, even though that didn't cause a real issue, I don't expect her to be any more familiar with Premier than she was a few months ago.

Which date were you looking at? I just did a mock booking for Feb 4th and it worked fine.

And I would never trust a PVP to know how much you are getting from the casino. I e-mail players club to find out.

I think that premier casino fare offers are best handled when the casino line is used, rather than the regular Carnival #.

They do fill quickly, as well as increase in fare as slots fill up. The casino promotion has a quota to fill, it is not open ended.

I see a problem too. When I log in and click on my premier offers, it doesn't just load premier cruises. It loads all cruises. Apparently the filter isn't working. My fares default to early saver too. Sounds like you'll have to call to book unless you want to wait on Carnival's flaky website to be fixed (again).

I had the opposite problem (no cruises showing) the other day. Clearing my browser cache and history fixed it.

When the casino fare quota is filled, the option does not show on Carnival's general web site. This can happen as quickly as a few days after the initial offering, which I see in my VIFP box way before I get that post card.

A few times I've gotten the postcard so late that any sailing I was considering had that fare gone by the time I got the mailing.

I'm looking at the Miracle out of Tampa on Feb 24th. I checked again on the folder with the offers that was mailed from Players Club, and it says to book call your PVP and gives her name & phone #. I don't think that you can actually book the cruise through the Players Club.

I didn't trust her to know how much $$ I was getting, so that wasn't that big of a deal. I'm just not sure that I trust her to get the actual booking right. When I book with her, I've already done a mock booking, so I pretty much tell her which cabin I want.

For our cruise in June, it was a little last minute & my sister called her to book it. She calls me and says, the PVP was able to get us a cabin in the aft close to the cabin we were in last time - no lounge above us, so no problem with noise.. So, when I ask her the cabin number - hello, it's all the way forward and directly under the main show lounge - really noisy.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, you can book direct with the casino hosts.

I'm not seeing the Miracle on the 24th under mine. 3rd on Freedom, 4th on Dream, 11th Dream or Pride and the 17th on Splendor. I'm guessing it's either fully booked for the premier part or it isn't a premier cruise. Maybe someone else who has the offer can check and see if they get different options.

It didn't come up for me either. I looked under my offers and then tried to book each room type. Nothing.

I threw away my mailer the day it came. I am one of those people that wait up on Monday night to snag the deal ASAP.

Call the phone number on the Premier offer and book that way. Very easy

Kills me also when people will ask how much money their PC code is instead of just picking up the phone 🙈🙈

I just received the Premier offer in the mail yesterday. I received the same offer via email early last week....and booked my January cruise then. The casino hosts have told me that they fill up early and if they disappear from the website, the Premier offer for that cruise has filled up and is no longer available. Wouldn't hurt to call the casino hosts and tell them you are interested in case someone cancels.
