Can the Diamond Lounge on Harmony Really Handle All the Diamonds and Diamond Plus?

Most Pinnacles don't care about points.

These two Pinnacles don't and those who are our friends don't either.

There is a certain type of Pinnacle that obsess about their points and whether they will be top cruisers...but most couldn't care less.

Once you reach Pinnacle you are at the PINNACLE of RC C&A programme.

Max, do kids get points in the kids sail free promos? I hear that Pinnacles don't on their free cruise if they don't pay anything. Same with free Visa cruise if you keep it under the max.

Hi all, my first post ;p

We're new to RCCL cruising, just 1 year in. So far we've sailed on Harmony 3x this year. April 2017 JS & Sept 2017 A1. We were on the Irma 10 day cruise then opted to stay on the 4 additional days ;) so just 3 cruises in, we're already Platinum, And Diamond in another 3 since we sailed in suites. Already booked Symphony A2 Dec 2018 & Symphony VS April 2019. Star class is amazing but can get expensive so I'm wondering at what tier would we get benefits similar to star class (unlimited drink pkg & unlimited specialty dining) Ihave a few questions for you experienced folks.

1) As a Diamond member, are the discounts good? I've found great deals just searching different dates.

2) At what tier would I get all day access at Coastal Kitchen & Suite Lounge? Is the DL better than the SL?

3) Do you guys book Sea, Sky or Star class?

4) Do Diamond and above enter through the suites entrance at the cruise port? If not, is there a dedicated entrance to avoid the long lines?

5) Same question at the end of the cruise, how do you get off the ship? What is the departure lounge? Do you have to wait in the long customs line or does the DL concierge escort you off the ship?

6) Do you guys have the RCCL visa? Do those points make a big difference?

7) Don't the ships mostly go out full? How often are you upgraded? Is the upgrade free?

Thanks for helping me better understand the Crown & Anchor benefits. :D

There is no C&A level that gives the unlimited drink package and unlimited specialty dining.

1) As a Diamond member, are the discounts good? The main discount is the balcony discount.

2) At what tier would I get all day access at Coastal Kitchen & Suite Lounge? Is the DL better than the SL? You need to book a suite to get access - does not depend on C&A.

4) Do Diamond and above enter through the suites entrance at the cruise port? If not, is there a dedicated entrance to avoid the long lines? There's a D line.

5) Same question at the end of the cruise, how do you get off the ship? What is the departure lounge? Do you have to wait in the long customs line or does the DL concierge escort you off the ship? Depends on the ship sometimes, but you are mostly on your own.

7) Don't the ships mostly go out full? How often are you upgraded? Is the upgrade free? Yes. The upgrade fairly seems to be on vacation for a long time.

Welcome to CC.
