kcdancerkc Posted January 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Tell me it aint so! Just getting off a carnival cruise and they had these double hangers, that makes it hard to get my stuff on the hangers.....I do not want double hangers , very tedious. Asked my room steward to please bring me a few extra hangers and he gave me lots! So i used the plastic ones and could much easier put my stuff in order with ease......first world problem I know. I just wanted to know if this is the same type on this ship. Thanks!

smplybcause Posted January 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2018 No idea what's on escape as I don't sail until next month, but on the getaway they brought me plastic hangers when I needed more that what was in the cabin. nednrom Posted January 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I don't particularly care for the hangers on NCL and Carnival either. You have to hook them to the attachment on the closet bar and that's sometimes cumbersome. I believe Royal is the only one that has regular hangers. kcdancerkc Posted January 18, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Yes hooking them to the contraption called a hanger which is stuck to the closet bar, and each one is supposed to hang two hangers. Nonsensical! So on NCL and our mext Carnival ship, I will have to get different hangers from the steward. Thanks
SquishTheWhale Posted January 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2018 I don't remember anything that could qualify as a 'double hanger' on the Escape. There was plenty for two people unless you want to hang up every T-shirt or whatever. We were in a Balcony cabin in October.
tef43 Posted January 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Getaway had same hangers as CCL.
snaebyllej Posted January 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2018 No, just single "stick the little thingie in the hole" hangers. Kind of hard to do when the little closet is stuck back in the corner where you block the light by standing in front of it. I'm really sorry that you are having to deal with this. Hang in there. I know it's annoying.

kcdancerkc Posted January 19, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted January 19, 2018 No, just single "stick the little thingie in the hole" hangers. YES. THIS KIND. It is not that there is not really enough, its the contraption itself that is hard to hang things up. Thanks so much for describing, I will definitely hit up the steward right away for regular ones.:cool:
WashyWashyHappyHappy95 Posted January 19, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 19, 2018 They don't want people stealing the hangers.
