Quick Eats in KW

Since we only have 9 hours in Key West and this is our first time there, we've decided to skip a sit down meal. We want to find something that will be quick, but will have some place to sit down inside to eat. Any suggestions?

Bo's Fish Wagon is sit down but quick - order at the counter, wait for them to call your number and go sit and eat it. It's excellent food as well. Fries (hand cut from real potatoes) may be the best I've ever had. Grouper sandwich is top notch as well.

Another vote for B.O.'s- its off the touristy Duval St near the Bight on the corner of Williams and Caroline

Unless something has changed recently, they don't accept cards - cash only but worth a stop for a quick meal.....

When we were there in December, they took our card.

Garbo's Grill which is a food truck, now a big food truck. They have been on diners, dives and drive ins and are absolutely amazing. We eat there a few times every trip and the couple that own it are fantastic.

I'll be eating there tomorrow!!

There are dozens of restaurants in Key West for a quick lunch. What do you want to eat?

Not really any specific food. We just want something that we can order, sit down, and eat fairly quickly. Not waiting for a table, then waiting for food.

Another vote for BO's. Garbo's is also excellent but they're a victim of their own popularity now. Be prepared for long waits nowadays there.

Long wait at BO or Garbos? We are thinking BO may be our stop. The menu looks good!

I was there twice last weekend, didn't have a long wait either time. Friday it was 1:30 and Saturday it was noon.

If you do go to BO's, rather than just walking along the street (say, Duval to Caroline for example) consider going northeast on Front to the harbor walk and walk along the harbor until you get to William St. / The Waterfront Brewery (hard to miss, giant mural on the side). Or take the streets there and the Harbor Walk back.
