Back 2 Back cruises on Symphony

Recommended Posts

Yes if you plan on getting off at at least some of the ports and if you spread the shows/activities out over two weeks. Even better if you are willing to visit several of the specialty restaurants for some variety.

I wouldn't mind to go to Atlantis again. I wish RCC has itinerary to Southern Caribbean as we have done East and West several times already.

Freedom & Jewel out of San Juan go to the Southern Caribbean (Jewel from November to May).

There will be a ship from Miami doing Southern Caribbean starting in October/November (Explorer?)

There will be a ship from Ft. Lauderdale doing Southern Caribbean starting in October/November (Serenade?).

Been on Allure, Oasis, and upcoming Symphony. All have been 12-15 night transatlantics with 1 or 2 port stops. Never felt bored or had nothing to do. Would never do a back to back, the port stops would be a real downer..

If port stops would not be an issue, would you do back to back on the same ship?

Would have to say no. The more we cruise the more we love longer cruises. One of the important reasons we take longer cruises is because of the lack of kids. Our last transatlantic on Allure had less than a dozen kids onboard. Doing a B2B on Symphony in the Caribbean would have 1500 - 2000 kids onboard, then 7 days later we would see another 2000 showing up. Nothing wrong with kids but the less the merrier the more we travel.

You will only see high numbers of kids like that during school vacations.

Have done two b2b allure and two b2b oasis cruises. And will board allure again in oct. We love doing b2b cruises on all ships we have been on.

One week on oasis class is no way to do and experience everything but at a frantic pace. There is so much to see and do on the ship. A b2b is a great way to enj I y the ship at a leisurely pace and get to do and see what you have missed on the first week.

Would the ship big enough to spend two weeks without boring ourselves to death?
