Miami hotels

We have 3 days in Miami prior to cruise MSC Divina .

In March. Any advice on hotels close to cruise terminal.

Up to $250-$300 a night for a couple of seniors. Many thanks again. Zakkary

Got to the forums - Ports of Call, United States, Florida. You'll find a lot of advice there regarding Miami hotels.

My personal preference is for the Art Deco area of South Beach. Nice beaches, good food and interesting architecture. I try to stay away from the financial district or any area in a concrete jungle.

We absolutely LOVE The Betsy! Right on Ocean Drive.

Another vote for intercontinental! Loved it! Request a room overlooking where the ships come in. Can walk to dining and stores for last minute shopping.

Thanks for prompt response...Hopefully we should be in Miami Late afternoon after a 26 hour flight from Brisbane Aust. Looking forward to a hotel very close to cruise port. Thanks again Zakkary.

The EPIC....balconies with beautiful views of the cruise port. Amazing and very close to the cruise port (5 minute taxi ride) Many eateries, drug store, Whole Foods, etc..for those last minute items you need to get.

I agree .We love this Hotel but price for our dates in Dec. is over 350 $ :rolleyes: Never paid so much. :confused:

A good tourist rate hotel is the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. Old hotel, but clean, affordable, and right across from Bayside Marketplace (stores, entertainment, and restaurants). Can book a room with a bay view to see the ships. We have stayed there several times and would return.

My vote is for Holiday Inn downtown. Just opposite Bayside for some nice restaurants. Oyster has a review of the best port hotels, very helpful. https://www.oyster.com/miami/hotels/roundups/best-miami-cruise-port-hotels/
